The Augustusburg and Falkenlust Palaces form a historical building complex in Brühl, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, which has been listed as a UNESCO cultural World Heritage Site since 1984. The buildings are connected by the spacious gardens and trees of the Schlosspark. Augustusburg Palace and its parks also serve as a venue for the Brühl Palace Concerts. The Max Ernst Museum is located nearby.

Zu Besuch in Brühl

Mein Besuch in Brühl führte mich zum Schloss, genauer genommen zum Schloss Augustusburg in Brühl, gegenüber vom Bahnhof in Brühl. Ich habe einen ausgiebigen Rundgang durch den Schlosspark gemacht. Sehr schön im Schlosspark auch die zahlreichen Springbrunnen.
Anschließend bin ich noch durch den angrenzenten Schlosswald.

The Augustusburg Palace in Brühl Germany

This vlog is about the Augustusburg Palace in Brühl and the train station there. I also show the gardens of the palace. I was in Germany for ten days and have filmed a-lot more footage. This means that more vlogs are coming soon. This video is only footage from what I filmed in Brühl, which is a German city in North Rhine-Westphalia. The Augustusburg Palace is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This Palace was built in the 18th century for the Cologne Elector and Archbishop, Clemens August.

It was recognized as a world heritage site in 1984. It took a cooperation of German, Italian, and French painters, sculptures, and architects to create the Rococo style that this Palace was built in. The Rococo architecture was a continuation of the Baroque style. This was the final time of the Baroque movement.

Palace Falkenlust in Brühl Germany | Augustusburg Palace | Travel and Family Vlog

The palace represents one of the first examples of Rococo creations in Germany. Archbishop Clemens August had his palace built on the ruins of a medieval moated castle. The palace became one of the most glorious residences of its time. The architecture, sculptures, painting and garden design made the Bruhl palace a masterpiece. This is definitely a must-see place to visit.

Augustusburg Palace. The Augustusburg Palace has been placed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The palace is one of the key works of Balthasar Neuman, and contains one of the finest Rococco interiors in the world, the highlight being the main staircase. Also in the grounds is the magnificent hunting Lodge of Falkenslust.

Phantasialand ( Bruhl - Germany ) is a great park for the whole family. You can find thrill rides but also rides for the little ones. A lot of attention to detail in the different zones.

Kids and adults can find something for them at Phantasialand ( Bruhl - Germany ) . Not only roller coasters but lots of other, cool attractions. Love the fact that you can buy fast food but also healthy snacks and all for a decent price.

Exploring Castles in Brühl

On weekend I decided to take a walk, to enjoy the last summer days we still have. And I thought it also would be a nice oportunity to try my steady cam. The place: the castles of Augustusburg and Falkenlust in the city of Brül, a few kilometers away from Colone.
