Jahan Nama Garden
Since 2004 a high quality restoration of the Jahan Nama garden has been underway. This large walled garden has existed since at least the 13th century CE. Much of the present design may be 18th century. In a classic Persian garden arrangement, four broad avenues, bordered with orange trees, cypresses and roses converge on an octagonal stone pavilion at the centre. This 18th century pavilion contains an internal fountain pool from which, once restoration is complete, water will flow down steep chadars to pools on each side. In the centre of one of the four avenues from the central pavilion is a long rill, lined with 64 fountains, which stretches nearly to the garden wall. The number 8 is a theme: 8 cypresses on each of the main paths, 8 sections to the long rill, 8 fountains to each section etc. Some very old cypresses survive. There are large areas of colourful planting in geometric flower beds yellow and purple pansies, red, purple and white stock. A pergola is being developed over one avenue path. Many benches are provided for visitors. In April the air is heavy with the scent of orange blossom. Beyond the dark cypresses lining the arcaded boundary walls are views to the rocky Zagros mountains - a nearby hill is topped by the cupola of a dervish shrine.

Aramgah-e Hafez, Bagh-e Jahan Nama, Arg-e Karim Khan, Zoorkhaneh, Shiraz, Iran
There is no better place to understand Hafez’s place in the nation’s psyche than at his tomb and the memorial garden within which it is set. Hafez died in middle age in 1389 and his tomb was placed here by Karim Khan in 1773. The marble is engraved with a long verse from the poet, and in 1935 the site was embellished with an octagonal pavilion, supported by eight stone columns beneath a tiled dome. Sunset is the most popular time of day for Iranians to gather at the garden to pay their respects; some come to perform the faal-e Hafez, a popular ritual in which a volume of Hafez’s works is opened randomly and the future interpreted therein. There’s a teahouse in the grounds where admirers sit to enjoy the recitations broadcast around the garden over a bowl of ash (noodle soup) or faludeh (a frozen sorbet made with thin starch noodles and rose water).
At Bagh-e Jahan Nama beautifully manicured lawns, interesting trees, plants and flowers with traditional Persian water features, and a mansion, you’ll hear birds chirping in this garden all the time. The garden is enclosed by a beautiful brick wall and it offers a sanctuary to spend a couple of tranquil hours.
The Arg of Karim Khan' or Karim Khan Citadel is a citadel located in downtown Shiraz, Iran. It was built as part of a complex during the Zand dynasty. It is named after Karim Khan, and served as his living quarters. It is rectangular in shape and resembles a medieval fortress.
Above the entrance gate, you will notice a sizable tile-worked scene of Rostam’s battle against a demon. Rostam is the protagonist character of Shahnameh, the epic poem book of Ferdowsy, the most well-known Iranian poet of 10th and 11th centuries. After entering the vestibule a corridor leads you into the large courtyard with an astonishing orange garden!
The garden inside the large courtyard of Arg-e-Karimkhani takes approximately up to 80% of the area. The rest, courtyard floor, is all covered by marble stone from the time of construction. A pathway from the center of the garden leads to the middle of each side of the courtyard opposite a portico leading to some of the rooms of the building.
“Zoorkhaneh” is an Iranian traditional sport club dating back to Zoroastrianism and Mithraism era where the athletes train rigorously with live music playing with “Zarb” (Persian drum) and poems of “Shahnameh”, the masterpiece epic book of “Ferdowsi”. “Zoorkhaneh” is the house of strength .not only for the body but also for the soul and spirit.

Pars Museum in Nazar Garden Shiraz Iran | باغ نظر و موزه پارس شیراز
The Pars Museum is a museum in Shiraz, Fars Province, southern Iran. Founded in 1936 under Reza Shah Pahlavi, it is located in Nazar Garden.
The octagonal building was the place in which royal guests were hosted during the Zand dynasty of Iran. It was also used for holding official ceremonies.
It is also the burial place of Karim Khan Zand.
Nazar Garden
The old Nazar Garden was one of the largest gardens of Shiraz during the Safavid rule (1501–1722). During Zand dynasty (1750–1794) Karim Khan built an octagon structure which was called Kolah Farangi. It was used to receive and entertain foreign guests and ambassadors and hold official ceremonies.
Pars Museum
In 1936 the pavilion became a museum. It was the first museum which was located outside the capital city of Tehran. The brick designs, tiling, pictures and big stone dadoes are among the architectural features of the building.
Pars museum is a display of almost 30 handwritten Qurans, a number of magnificent paintings of famous Persian artists. Among the paintings is the well-known Karim Khan’s Smoking Shisha created by Jafar Naqash.

????????이란여행 로드트립 #6 쉬라즈의 4대 가든, 자한나마 가든 Shiraz Jahannama Garden
[이란남자 ❤️한국여자] [Iranian ❤️Korean]

En plein public singing in the dark at Shiraz; Iran
When I looked the video just after the shooting I only saw a nearly dark screen, but the sound was excellent. At home I have prepared the video with some filters and now you see some persons.
The video was taken in a very dark corner of the Musalla Gardens on the north bank of a seasonal river in which the tomb of Hafez -
a famous poet - is located. The dome over Hafez's grave is well lit at night, providing an attractive focal point
I hope you enjoy the result.
