Jampui Hills is a hill range located in the North Tripura district in the north eastern part of the Indian state of Tripura. The average altitude of the hill range is approximately 1000 metres above sea level.

The Jampui Hills stretch from North to South and are bordering the state Mizoram in the east. 930 m high Betalongchhip, also known as Betlingchhip, Balinchhip and Thaidawr, is the highest point in Tripura.

There are 10 small villages in Jampui hills and most of the inhabitants are the Mizo community. The villages are (from North to South) Vaisam, Hmawngchuan,Hmunpui, Tlaksih, Vanghmun, Behliangchhip, Bangla Zion, Tlangsang, Sabual and Phuldungsei. Vanghmun is the headquarters of Jampui R.D Block and there is a police station too. Besides these, UBI Bank and State Cooperative Bank have their branches functioning at Vanghmun. The whole of Jampui hills falls within Kanchanpur sub-division under North Tripura district with its headquarters located at Dharmanagar. There is a black topped road to Jampui Hills which is being developed to make it an interstate highway connecting with Mizoram. The nearest village, Hmunpui is 23 km (Approx) far from Kanchanpur, the Sub-Divisional Headquarters.
The official languages in the area are Mizo, Kokborok & English. But mostly people speak in Mizo.

Jampui hills Tripura||Northeast Tour 2018||#vlog28 by biker soul

RIDE TO JAMPUI, It was one of my biggest ride. We have done total distance approx 450kms in 2days. We went out for Jampui on 8th June 4am and we reached home on 9th June 8pm.
By the way we enjoyed there alot and we stayed at Eden Tourist Lodge. We have booked our rooms from Tripura Tourism Office, Agartala.
Room cost was Rs.800/per room with 4single beds without food.

IMPORTANT THINGS WHICH WE CARRIED:

Along with Chain Lube & Cleaner;

5. Tripod, SelfRecorder Holder for Mobile, Camera Mounts etc;
6. My wrists watch(FASTRACK)

Luggage:
I've carried a White Printed Shirt, a Jeans(except which I weared during Ride), half sleeve tee, Spunk ATHLETIC fit tee(Weared during Ride), shoes, sleepers, Tooth Brush, Towel, Backpack, Travel Bag etc. & other members carried some more things.

During this season the hill is covered with floating clouds and it provides a rare experience for the tourists.
