HOI AN - JAPANESE COVERED BRIDGE (VIETNAM)
APART FROM ITS FUNCTION OF TRAFFIC REGULATION FACILITATING THE MOVEMENT OF TOURISTS AND RESIDENTS IN OLD TOWN, CAU PAGODA IS AN IMPORTANT PLACE OF RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES. THE RELIGIOUS ARCHITECTURAL COMPLEX WITH ITS UNIQUE FEATURES ASSOCIATED LEGENDS TO CITIZEN’S FATE. THANKS TO ITS PARTICULAR SIGNIFICANCE, JAPONESE COVERED BRIDGE WAS CHOSEN AS THE SYMBOL OF HOI AN ANCIENT TOWN. ONE THEORY OF THE BRIDGE’S RELIGIOUS PURPOSE IS THAT IT WAS BUILT TO SUBDUE A WORLD”MAMAZU” DRAGON MONSTER, WHOSE HEAD WAS LOCATED IN INDIA ANS ITS TAIL IN JAPAN. THE MOVEMENTS OF THE TAIL WAS BELIEVED TO CAUSE EARTHQUAKES IN JAPAN.THE JAPANESE COVERED BRIDGE UNDERWENT RENOVATION WORK IN 1986 WHICH SAW THE RSTORATION OF THE ARCH THAT ONCE WAS FLATTERED TO MAKE WAY FOR THE CARS.TODAY, THE BRIDGE STANDS AS A SYMBOL OF HOI AN AND REMAINS AS AESTHETICALLY PLEASING AS IT WAS WHEN IT FIRST OPENED.

One Week In Hoi An And The Japanese Covered Bridge
BRAND NEW!!! Check out my DJI Osmo Pocket Test Footage:
There was definitely a love / hate relationship going on with us and Hoi An. It's beautiful, so much history and so much to explore but the city's ticket scheme for the old quarter is hideous.
In this video you'll also find a walk through the Japanese Covered Bridge and many other moody impressions of Hoi An!

Hoi An Ancient City, Vietnam | Ancient Building | Japanese Covered Bridge
Hello, this is a video about Hoi An Ancient City of Vietnam in 2018.
I took this video on 16th of May 2018.
It's very nice and not too crowded to enjoy or get nice photos. The ancient town Hoi An is lit up with quite nicely, beautifully during nighttime. A ticket required as we need to cross it to get to the other side of the river , Tourists wanted to go over the bridge so They have to buy ticket (around 5 Us dollars each ticket). if anyone wanting a nice photo, Maybe not . They need a nice camera plus photoshop. The temple inside is a bit old but exciting.
I hope you like this video.
Thank you so much.

Vietnam Hoi An - Water lantern Japanese covered bridge Opera
29/9/2015 - a steaming day without single cloud in sight
Where we were standing beside the stretch of the Song Thu Bon river bank watching the flowing lanterns, I suggested and chartered a gentle river cruise for just the four of us.
Later, we went over to the other side of the river, and navigated through pushy elbows over the wooden bridge to feel the atmosphere....
