Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county is situated in Hungary in the heart of the Great Plain surronded by 7 counties. The capital of the county is Szolnok city the centre of the transportation, commerce, education and tourism. The transportational-geographical location of the county is very favourable. The area of the county is 5.582km2, the population of the county is 413.000 people, living in 16 cities and 62 towns/villages.
The county is separated by the rivers Tisza, Triple-Körös and the Zagyva, and on the northern part there is the area called Jaszsag which is a rapidly developing. Over the river Tiszai s the area called Nagykunsag, in the middle of the county is the Tisza-valley and in south is the Tiszazug.
The Lake Tisza and the National Park of Hortobágy attracts many visitors to the county. The Lake Tisza is not a natural lake. It was made 30 years before and with its large surface it is the biggest lake of the Great Plain, and favourite destination of anglers and water sport fans. The protected areas of this region are the Bird Reservation of Tiszafüred and the Arboretum of Tiszaigar. On the northeast part of the county can be fond the Hortobagy-Puszta, what is the part of the World Heritage Sites.
Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county is rich in termal waters. Several spas can be found, for example in: Cserkeszőlő, Berekfürdő, Jászapáti, Jászberény, Szolnok, Karcag, Kisújszállás, Mezőtúr, Tiszafüred, Túrkeve. The thermal waters are good for reumatic and several other diseases. Some of them can be used as a drinking cure, can be used against stomach problems. Medical treatments can be asked in the spas, as well. These treatments can be used as medical or physical(relaxing) treatments.
The settlements are extremely rich in folk and craftmen heritages. The centres of the pottery are Karcag and Mezőtúr, where world famous pottery items are made. Traditional events and local gastronomy add more touristical value.

The Mithraeum Of Óbuda, Tomb Of The Bektashi Poet Gül Baba, and some sightseeing in Budapest. Shot in December 2018. The city of Jaszbereny was left out of the itinerary because there’s nothing to see/do there and the cultural museum there is not related to the pre-Magyar culture of the Jasz.
