Jawbone Conservation Reserve, Williamstown in Melbourne by Drone [4K]
Today I am at Jawbone Conservation Reserve in Williamstown, Melbourne. I hope you enjoy this flight and interesting location.
I have a sun guard around the camera gimbal and because the wind was so strong the guard sometimes came into view when the drone was on an angle fighting the wind.

Salsette shipwreck in Williamstown
Flyover animation of the wreck of the Salsette in Williamstown. The wreck site was captured using photogrammetry and subsequently rendered into a 3D scene. A wire model of the Salsette as it would have been laying on it's side before being broken up is shown at the end.
Lying in the Jawbone Marine Reserve in Williamstown the Salsette was built in 1839 and had a career spanning 97 years. The first 3D model has key parts of the wreck highlighted. Compare this to the second textured model - showing how well the wreckage blends in to the marine environment.
One of the key identifiable parts of this wreck is the large object on the left, the ships hawespipe, through which ran the anchor chain out of the bow of the ship.

Don't forget to watch in HD!
This is not meant to be a good video. Just a test of my NEW GoPro Hero 3 Black (yay!). I have to say I am pretty impressed with the low light quality since my torch is pretty crappy and dim.
Filmed at 1080p at 60fps slowed down to 24fps.
