I'm back with a new video from Crete, Greece!
I was lucky enough to go on a trip to Greece with my mom and took this opportunity to film more videos for my channel.
We decided to go to the island of Crete and this video shows our day spent in Heraklion.
I will upload 2 more videos after this one. The second one will be about our visit to famous sites of Crete (such as the palace of Knossos) and the third video will be about our jeep safari to the south of the island.
I've also got a special trip planned for the end of the month and hopefully will have lots of videos to upload!
I shot this video with a Canon 80D.

Wśród gajów oliwnych w miejscu zwanym Logari, które oddalone jest o niecały kilometr od wsi Kritsa, znajduje się niewielki bizantyjski kościół pochodzący z XIII-XIV wieku. Jest to bodaj jeden z najbardziej znanych zabytków sakralnych na Krecie. Spośród setek innych podobnych kościołów Panagia Kera wyróżniają bogate polichromie zdobiące całe wnętrze. Ciekawostką jest to, że bizantyjskie freski, które można obecnie podziwiać, przez setki lat były skryte pod tynkiem. Dawni chrześcijanie ukryli ich obecność, aby ochronić je przed zniszczeniem przez tureckiego okupanta. Freski zostały ponownie odkryte dopiero w 1971 roku.Budowla składa się z trzech naw, z których środkowa jest pod wezwaniem Wniebowzięcia Matki Boskiej, prawa pod wezwaniem Św. Anny, a lewa Św. Antoniego. Najstarsze malowidła znajdują się w głównej nawie pod wezwaniem Wniebowzięcia NMP, jednak zdecydowanie najlepiej zachowane freski znajdują się w południowej nawie (pod wezwaniem Św. Anny).
