This is about our Jeep Safari excursion in Varadero Cuba. We drove the Jimny jeep in a convoy visiting the Canimar river at first where we embarked in the small speed boats to cruise along its channel. The second visit occured in the picturesque cave of Saturno where we swam in the crystal waters. Then we headed towards the Rancho Gaviota for the lunch after crossing the verdant Yumuri Valley. Before that we had a brief snorkeling session (not showed in the video). A course of 150 Km in the narrow roads of the Cuban province full of interesting landscape and authentic and still unspoiled nature lost in time.

Varadero, Cuba Jeep Safari Tour.
My wife and I, and a couple friends we met checked out this tour we booked at our hotel, Bellevue Palma Real.
We were picked up by a bus in the morning and off we went! The tour stopped at Saturno Cave, Rancho Gaviota, and Canimar River. The Coral Reef was skipped due to windy weather.

Pick-up at the hotels according to the time set up for the tour. Transfer from the hotel to the jeeps depot. A more than 150 kilometer adventure across rivers, off roads, quarries, royal palm tree groves and small countryside communities. Visit to a farm family. Snorkeling at Playa Coral (equipments included). Visit to Saturn Cave. Free time for swimming. Sightseeing to Matanzas, the city of bridges, of big cultural wealth. Tour across the Valley staying at Rancho Gaviota including: Welcome cocktail, typical Cuban lunch, visit with guide to crops and breeding farm, free time for horseback riding, nautical sports activities in a lake. Visit to Monserrate Heights. A 30-minutes boat trip across Canímar River a protected area that gives the possibility of observing the green and beauty of Cuban vegetation. Return to the jeeps depot and take the bus back to the hotel.
