Downtown Vancouver Canada - Walking from East Cordova to Hastings Street to Canada Place
We are walking around East Cordova at the beginning. I believe there's a bit of gentrification happening around here.
West Hastings is part of downtown's business district.
Before we reach Canada Place at the end, there's a piece of art by Salvador Dali .

BURNABY British Columbia Canada - Driving in BC - Sightseeing Drive - Morning 2016
This is part one of Driving in Burnaby, B.C., Canada (filmed in April, 2016 in the morning). To see part 2, click on the following:
We start our drive on Marine Way and take a left on Nelson. On the left is River Way Sports Complex and on the right is the golf course (0:57).
Nelson street is a fairly steep hill (1:34) which brings us to Rumble Street (2:22). As we drive down this street we will pass by the Michael J Fox Theatre (3:11). We might be going back to the future.
As we head up the street, you'll notice there are quite a few auto related shops around here (3:42) and it is a slightly industrial neighborhood.
We drive down Imperial Street (4:20) which is a great way to avoid the traffic on Kingsway.
When we reach Patterson Street, you will notice the Burnaby Pitch and Putt Golf Course along with Central Park to the left (5:42).
We pass by the Burnaby Central Library at 6:32 (to the right).
Kingway is Burnaby's busiest route mainly because of the giant mall called Metrotown, 7:45 (to the right). There are some good restaurants along this road, so please discover them.
At 11:10, we pass by the Nikkei Centre, which is a Japanese-Canadian community centre (all people are welcome). You can experience and learn about Japanese culture here.
At 13:50, we finally hit Canada Way. We pass by Burnaby City Hall and the Shadbolt Centre for the arts (to the left) at 16:25 and eventually we arrive to Willington Avenue 19:48, which takes us to North Burnaby
Please view PART 2 of DRIVING IN BURNABY, BC, CANADA.
The music was performed by a group called Free Jazz Vancouver. We play the music while watching the video.

Playing BACH on a REAL Harpsichord!
Ok - It's actually the Virginals, which is part of the Harpsichord family. I play it in my upcoming show, The Imaginary Invalid, which plays at the Jericho Arts Centre in Vancouver, BC, Canada, between June 5 and 28, 2015, directed by Michael Fera.
Things to do in Vancouver and how to enjoy your Vancouver time and Vancouver weather
Things to do in Vancouver and how to enjoy your Vancouver time and Vancouver weather
Vancouver is the largest metropolitan area in Western Canada, and third largest in Canada, with a population of 2.6 million. Located at the southwestern corner of the coastal province of British Columbia, it is well known for its majestic natural beauty, as it is nestled between the Coast Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. It is frequently ranked as one of the best cities to live in and is certainly a beautiful destination to visit.
Vancouverites broadly split their city into three: the Westside, the Eastside (or East Van) and city centre. This split is simply geography: everything west of Ontario St is the Westside, everything east is East Vancouver and everything north of False Creek is the city centre. Each of these areas have their own attractions and neighbourhoods, so time permitting, explore as many as you can. The areas in the city of Vancouver are frequently confused with the separate cities of North Vancouver and West Vancouver. North Vancouver and West Vancouver are north of Burrard Inlet and are not part of the city of Vancouver itself. Districts of Vancouve includes :
City Centre
Stanley Park and the West End
Gastown-Chinatown
Yaletown-False Creek
Kitsilano & Granville Island
UBC-Point Grey
Mt Pleasant-South Main
Commercial Drive-Hastings Park
Vancouver South
With the exception of Victoria, Vancouver has the mildest climate of any major city in Canada; even palm trees can (and do) grow here. It rains a lot in Vancouver, especially during the winters, but during the summer months Vancouver gets less rain than most other Canadian cities. During the winter months it can go weeks without seeing the sun or a dry day, but the temperature rarely goes below freezing. Heavy snowfalls are common in the nearby mountains, but unusual in the city itself and lead to major traffic congestion when snow accumulates. The weather in Vancouver is similar to the southern UK, and weather is similar to Seattle's. In the early summer the days often start out cloudy, due to marine air, but becomes clear by noon. Contrary to Vancouver's wet reputation, during the summer it is actually the second driest major Canadian city (after Victoria). Summer temperatures are not extreme, the typical day time high between June and August is around 24-25°C (75-77°F) away from the immediate seaside cooling effect.
The Vancouver Art Gallery is housed downtown in the neoclassical former courthouse built in 1906. The courthouse building was designed by Francis Rattenbury, who also designed the British Columbia Parliament Buildings and the Empress Hotel in Victoria, and the lavishly decorated second Hotel Vancouver. There are several modern buildings in the downtown area, including the Harbour Centre, the Vancouver Law Courts and surrounding plaza known as Robson Square (designed by Arthur Erickson) and the Vancouver Library Square (designed by Moshe Safdie and DA Architects), reminiscent of the Colosseum in Rome, and the recently completed Woodward's building Redevelopment (designed by Henriquez Partners Architects).
