Ramakrishna Vivekananda Mission, Pathrol kali mandir is very famous here. I found a small church besides of the station. I visit there on my Deoghar tour. I stay for 2 days here first. I also visit Giridih by train from Madhupur and visit Usri falls and Khandoli park and dam. After, we move to Deoghar..

Khandoli Dam (Hindi: खंडोली डैम) is a dam located 8-10 km North-East of Giridih town .towards Bengabad in Jharkhand, India. Khandoli is also a village at the foot of the Khandoli hill. The reservoir of the Khandoli dam provides water supply to more than one lakh residents of the Giridih town. It is an important tourist
spot in the state of Jharkhand.
Khandoli has been developed as a tourism attraction by district tourism department.The number of tourists increase in the winter months for bird-watching due to the presence
of migratory birds in the area. An amusement park spread over 6 acres (2.4 ha) is built near the lake which offers joy rides in toy train and swings. Elephant and camel safaris and numbers of other amusement facilities are available. A canteen is available
for convenience of the tourists. A watch tower and 600 feet high hillock offers a panoramic view of Khandoli site.
Khandoli is a popular spot for aerial, mountaineering and water related adventure sports owing to the physical and the relief features of the area.Aerial adventure activities include
hot air ballooning, paragliding and parasailing from both land and water. Khandoli Hill with its vast range of granite rocks with various shapes, offer varied challenges to rock climbers in rock climbing, rappelling, river Crossing (zip-line), trekking. The reservoir of Khandoli dam (Khandoli lake) is used by pedal boats, speed boats and water scooters for water related adventure
activities such as scuba diving, rafting, canoeing, sailing, kayaking, ringo ride, waterskiing and surfing. Khandoli is also used to impart training in water sports at national level.The Jharkhand Adventure Tourism Institute (JATI) is the nodal state level body which imparts training in and promote water and aero sports.These adventure sports attract tourists from across country.Large number of tourists from Mumbai, Kolkata, Burdwan, Orissa and Bihar arrive to engage in water sports.The Khandoli area has been leased by the administration for further development for tourism.
खंडोली बांध (हिंदी: खंडोली डैम) एक बांध है जो गिरिडीह शहर के 8-10 किमी उत्तर-पूर्व में झारखंड, भारत में बेंगाबाद की ओर स्थित है।खंडोली खांडोली पहाड़ी के पैर पर एक गांव भी है। खांडोली बांध का जलाशय गिरिडीह शहर के एक लाख से अधिक निवासियों को पानी की आपूर्ति प्रदान करता है। यह झारखंड राज्य में एक महत्वपूर्ण पर्यटन स्थल है।खंडोली को जिला पर्यटन विभाग द्वारा पर्यटन आकर्षण के रूप में विकसित किया गया है। इस क्षेत्र में प्रवासी पक्षियों की उपस्थिति के कारण पक्षी-देखने के लिए सर्दियों के महीनों में पर्यटकों की संख्या में वृद्धि हुई है।एक मनोरंजन पार्क 6 एकड़ (2.4 हेक्टेयर) से अधिक फैला हुआ है जो झील के पास बनाया गया है जो खिलौना ट्रेन और स्विंग्स में खुशी की सवारी प्रदान करता है। हाथी और ऊंट सफारी और अन्य मनोरंजन

झारखंड एडवेंचर टुरिज़्म इंस्टीट्यूट (जेएटीआई) नोडल स्टेट लेवल बॉडी है जो पानी और एयरो स्पोर्ट्स में प्रशिक्षण और प्रोत्साहन प्रदान करता है।

पारसनाथ की पहाड़ियाँ या श्री सम्मेता जी, समुद्र के तल से 4480 मीटर की ऊँचाई पर स्थित है। ये गिरिडीह की पहाड़ी श्रुंखला है जिसकी सर्वोच्च शिखर 1350 मीटर ऊँची है।यह केवल झारखंड की ही सबसे ऊँची चोटी नहीं है बल्कि हिमालय के दक्षिणी हिस्से का सबसे उंचा पर्वत पारसनाथ जैन धर्मावलम्बियों के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण तीर्थ है।
जैन धर्म ग्रंथों के अनुसार 24 तीर्थंकरों में से बीस ने इस पावन स्थली पर मोक्ष प्राप्त किया है। इन सभी बीसों तीर्थंकरों के मंदिर मधुबन तैलैटी में अवस्थित है।
पारसनाथ पर्वत विश्व प्रसिद्ध है, यहां हर साल लाखों के संख्या में देश-विदेश से सैलानी आते है। तलैटी से जल मंदिर 10 किलोमीटरऔर पारसनाथ शिखर तक तकरीबन 9.65 ,किलोमीटर की यात्रा करनी पड़ती है। ये यात्रा पैदल करना होता है। क्योंकि दुर्गम पहाड़ी पर वाहन जाने का साधन नहीं है। जो यात्री पैदल चलने में असमर्थ होते हैं वो डोली का सहारा लेते हैं! इसके लिए उन्हें 3000/- से 6000/- हजार तक प्रति व्यक्ति शुल्क
