Shanghai Trip Day 2 - Longjing Tea Farm, West Lake, Jin Yong’s College, & Yanguan Ancient City!
Whaddup guys!
#Acevengers are on the move again for our second day in China! We started our day with breakfast in our hotel, the Liang’An International Hotel.
Coming from the hotel, the temperature went plunging down to around 12-13 degree celcius! Even vapor could almost be seen coming out from our mouths!
The tour then brought us to our first destination, the Longjing Tea Farm. We had a fresh green tea made right in front of us!
We then moved on to the second location, which was the Jin Yong’s College! Jin Yong, was a Chinese wuxia novelist and essayist who co-founded the Hong Kong daily newspaper Ming Pao in 1959 and served as its first editor-in-chief. He was Hong Kong's most famous writer.
We toured around the musuem that would be a tribute to him. Just a few meters away, was the Taoist temple, the Haishen Temple. It was a place to worship the God of the Sea.
Moving on to our last location, was the Yanguan Ancient City. Yanguan Ancient Town is located in Haining City, Jiaxing City, and is located in the Qiantang River tide-watching scenic spot. It is also a famous historical and cultural town in China. Today, the ancient town of Yanguan still retains some old houses and ancient walls of Xuandemen. Some of them are opened as shops, snacks, ancient town specialties and ancient town specialties, as well as Kaiyuan Hotel. Attractions such as Haining Shadow Theater and Chenge Old House attract tourists.
