Our second day in Jiaxing we spent at the Moon River Historical Street (月河街) perusing around. This area is a jumble of canals curved around the city center, forming a crescent moon shape.
Jiaxing has arugeably the most famous zongzi (粽子)in Zhejiang Province. They are big pyramids of sticky rice stuffed with a variety of salty or sweet goodies inside, like fatty pork, honey jujubes, or sweet red bean paste. We like sweet red bean zongzi the most! Definitely check out the Zongzi Museum as its free!
The Moon River area is pretty touristy, but nonetheless a great place to take bridges of arched bridges, get lost in between the smudged white buildings of the canal, and enjoy a fresh-cooked sticky rice dumpling while walking around. This area also has a profusion of tea houses, restaurants, and bars right on the water.
This was my last video in collaboration with China Plus, hence the montage at the end. This project certainly made me keep up with my vlogging habit and got us out of the house and to new places (for which I'm grateful!) Thanks so much for being a part of my adventures in China!

Enshi | Cinematic Hubei
Enshi (Chinese: 恩施; pinyin: Ēnshī) is a county-level city in and the seat of Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, in western Hubei province, People's Republic of China.
The city is built alongside the Qing River and is surrounded by forest-covered mountains. The city has many hotels, restaurants and spas. Restaurants here in general cater for Chinese tastes; however there is one western style restaurant called Mac Home in the city center.
