Jichang Garden locates on the east foot of Huishan Mountain, within Xihui Park area in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, China. It is one of the famous classical gardens in eastern China that covers an area of 2.5 acre. Built according to the mountain, it formed a long and narrow body. Focusing on hills and poops, Jichang Garden used “borrow scenery”, piling up rocks”, managing waters” such skills masterfully fully and set the garden apart from most other gardens in eastern China.

民國初年,青祁村人虞循真在湖畔建青祁八景,號稱“山明水秀之區”.1927年至1936年,同村人王禹卿父子在虞的幫助下,利用原有基礎,建蠡園.1930年王的親戚陳梅芳在其西側再建“漁莊”,又名“賽蠡園”.建國後於1952年擴建蠡園長廊,與漁莊相連.1980年前後又拓建“層波疊影”新區.

這是一幢頗具江南地方特色的“ 石庫門 ”建築,原系“漁莊”大門,經數次改築,闢為蠡園正門.它面闊三間,進深九界,雙坡小青瓦屋頂,方磚貼面,下為金山石牆裙,門額為金色“蠡園”二字.門廳後牆又開八角形門洞,接出暗廊,廊端又開月洞,由此入園.

It was another great day in China. This is a XiHui Park, a nice quite area with beautiful parks and lakes. There is also small mountain were you can go up and view a pretty city view. Plus there is an ancient town and a Buddhist temple. On overall, a cool place to visit and walk around.

I take a walk through an urban village in central Wuxi, China. Wuxi is a mid-tier city in Jiangsu province, China, located near Shanghai.It is the third largest city in Jiangsu, after Nanjing and Suzhou, with a population of 3.5 million. It is also among the top ten wealthiest cities in China, with a GDP per capita higher than the likes of Shanghai and Beijing.
