Jiefangbei CBD, also known as Jiefangbei Shangye Buxingjie (重庆解放碑步行街), is the ultra-dense, urbanized downtown and central business district in the city of Chongqing, China, that is centred on a large pedestrian mall with a landmark monument tower (Jiefangbei) surrounded by collections of tall skyscrapers.
The area surrounding the Jiefangbei monument tower makes up the main central business district of the Yuzhong District of Chongqing city and is the most prominent CBD in the interior west of China. Thousands of shops, bars, and restaurants are located in Jiefangbei CBD including numerous large international department stores, upscale designer boutiques, local street food stalls, movie theatres, bars, and dance clubs; all clustered in pedestrian only streets surrounding the Jiefangbei monument and pedestrian square.
The Jiefangbei pedestrian square itself is lined with numerous giant mega-shopping malls with jumbo-tron LED screens and illuminated advertising billboards along with the city's tallest commercial skyscrapers, world class international hotels, and luxurious residential accommodations. According to Women's Wear Daily, in 2013, Jiefangbei Square was popular with young, stylish people to meet and shop at stores like Cartier, Ermenegildo Zegna, Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Rolex

In this video, I take you on a tour of a gym in China. While at the gym, I set a new 1RM on the bench press. After that, I head to a CRT Station and top up my travel card. Next, I hit walk the streets of Jiefangbei in search of a very famous clock tower.
Then, I get hungry and head over to JiaoChangKou Night Market for some street food. On the way home, I give you an outside glimpse of the Guotai Arts Center. Then, I stop by Hongya Cave for a fish pedicure. While there, I also score a really cool hand painted art piece.
Finally, I head back home and enjoy the rest of my day. Happy New Year! Thank you for watching.

Chongqing Raffles City Info:
Raffles City Chongqing, also known as Raffles City Chongqing T4N and Chongqing Chaotianman T4N , is suite of eight buildings in Yuzhong District, Chongqing, China. It is situated on a site covering 9.2 hectares, at the tip of the peninsula where the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers meet.
The buildings are reinforced concrete with concrete-encased steel columns and steel floor spanning. The height to tip is 354.5 metres with 79 above-ground floors and 3 below
It features a 300-metre-long horizontal skybridge called Crystal that connects the top of four of the skycrapers. The skybridge will be the second highest in the world after the Kingdom Centre. The entire project comprises eight towers with a total of 817,000 square metres of floor space.
It was designed by Israeli-Canadian architect Moshe Safdie. It is one of the most expensive buildings being built in China.

우룽현 역시 산성이라는 충칭의 별칭대로 산이 많은 곳이다. 꼬불꼬불한 산길을 따라 한참을 달렸다. 이곳은 하늘이 많든 다리가 있다는 천생삼교의 입구인데, 낯익은 중국 영화배우의 얼굴이 눈에 띈다. 우리나라에는 황후화라는 이름으로 소개됐던 장이모 감독의 영화인데, 여기서 촬영을 했다고 한다. 천생교는 말 그대로 자연적으로 생긴 다리를 말하는데 높이는 300미터가 넘고, 다리 면의 넓이는 500미터가 넘는다. 자연 침식으로만 만들어 졌다는 것이 그 세월을 가늠케 할 뿐이다. 지질 전문가가 탐험가들은 이곳을 세계의 기적, 지구의 유산이라고 불렀고, 2000년이 돼서야 관광지로 개발돼, 지금은 유네스코 세계자연유산으로 등록돼 있다. 영화에서 미학적인 영상 만들기를 좋아하는 중국의 거장 장이모도 이곳의 아름다움에 빠져 세트장을 지었다고 한다. 다리 밑을 통과해서 지나면 영화의 세트장을 직접 볼 수 있는데 분위기 탓인지 세트장이 아니라 마치 오래된 유적 같아 보였다. 훼손될까봐 평소에는 개방을 잘 안 하는데 운 좋게 안내인의 도움으로 세트장 안으로 들어갈 수 있었다. 당나라 시대의 역을 재현해 놓은 것인데 영화의 장면들이 생생하게 떠오르는 것 같았다. 이런 천생교들이 3개나 모여 있어 천생삼교라고 부르는데 이곳이 세계에서 유일한 곳이라고 한다. 하늘에 열십자 모양의 구멍이 난 것처럼 보이는데 이것도 자연의 침식으로 만들어진 것이다. 이곳도 석회암 지형에서 발달하는 카르스트 지형의 하나인데, 작은 물줄기지만 수많은 세월이 더해져서 이런 거대한 조각품을 만든다고 생각하니, 예사롭지 않게 보였다. 이곳 관광지의 특징은 산을 오르고 내리면서 다리품을 많이 팔아야 해서 그런지, 사람이 끄는 인력거를 심심치 않게 볼 수 있다. 사람이 직접 태워주는 기분이 어떨까 호기심에 타보기로 했는데, 좀 어색하기는 했다. 이곳 사람들에게는 이렇게 버는 수입이 꽤 큰 도움이 된다고 한다.

Ciqikou is an ancient town in the Shapingba District of Chongqing Municipality, People's Republic of China. It was originally called Longyinzhen (simplified Chinese: 龙隐镇; traditional Chinese: 龍隱鎮) and was also known as Little Chongqing.
According to an old Chinese proverb: One flagstone road, and one thousand years' Ciqikou. The name of the town can be traced back to porcelain production during the Ming (1368–1644) and Qing Dynasties. Formerly a busy port located at the lower reaches of the Jialing River, a thousand years after its foundation the town remains a symbol and microcosm of old Chongqing
Travellers to Chongqing and locals alike throng to Ciqikou's steep and narrow pedestrian streets. Shops sell porcelain, other handicrafts, and gifts, while restaurants and tea shops give visitors a look at what many areas of Chongqing were like before the metropolis became the vast urban agglomeration it is today. A 1,500-year-old Buddhist temple straddles the mountain in the middle of the old town.
