Jimbaran is a fishing village and coastal resort south of Kuta on the Indonesian island of Bali.
Jimbaran Bay has a long beach with calm waters. It's lined with fish restaurants and backed by tropical forest.
At its northern end, colorful boats are pulled up by the lively, open-air Kedonganan fish market.
Southwest of the bay are Dreamland Beach and Balangan Beach, known for their strong surf waves.

Our family holiday to Jimbaran Bay, Bali, Indonesia.
Whilst there we all stayed at the Movenpick Resort which is only 7 months old and was incredibly beautiful and well run. The foods, the grounds, the Pool and Chocolate hour every day from 4 to 5 was incredible.
Massages by the Pool under Huts, just completed the memories of this place.

Jimbaran is probably one of the best areas in Bali to delicious seafood option with arguably one of the best vantage point to a mellow calming sunset.

After spending a delightful few days on Kuta Beach, Bali, we headed to Nusa Dua for a more relaxing and slow pace. John's friend, Ali, kindly offered to transport us to our next accommodation. He worked at a TV station, and so we got a special tour of his office. The evening was completed with a dinner on Jimbaran Bay, and an oleh-oleh hunt!
Setelah menghabiskan beberapa hari yang menyenangkan di Pantai Kuta, Bali, kita menuju ke Nusa Dua untuk lebih santai dan tenang. Temannya John, Ali, dengan ramah menawarkan untuk mengantar kita ke akomadasi kita berikutnya. Dia bekerja di stasiun TV, jadi kita mendapat tur khusus di kantornya. Malam itu selesai dengan makan malam di Teluk Jimbaran, dan perburuan oleh-oleh!

Excellent hotel, wonderful staff (especially our butler Aryo was simply wonderful), spa highly recommendable. The food in general is delicious but the Cooking Academy, which also houses a small Balinese restaurant is the best! We had a wonderful time!
Amazing stay! Everything was perfect. Staff were very friendly, we were positively surprised by them and the complementary upgrades and services.
Great location with beautiful gardens. The villas are wonderful, in Balinese style with a perfect plunge pool.
What makes a stay at Fourseasons Bali is the airport welcoming service where a hotel staff member will be at the waiting area to help you through the airport
I loved how we were treated like royality by the hotel staff & tours driver making sure we were enjoying our stay!
Minuses:
The price of meals is very high and every bill has 21% added for service and tax.

This market was kind of dirty and wet. The seafood were cheap when converted to USD. However, still bargain because they will bring the price up if you're a tourist. There are warungs around that will clean and grill your seafood for 20,000 IDR for 1 kilo. I recommend to use the dipping sauce to balance out the flavors or else your cooked seafood would be so boring after awhile.
