Jinhua, known as Wuzhou in ancient times, is a prefecture level city in Zhejiang Province. It was founded in the 15th year of the reign of the Qin Dynasty (222 BC). It is named Jinhua because it is located in the place where Venus and Wunv compete for the best in China. It is called Jinhua for short and Wuzhou in ancient times. Jinhua Yiwu metropolitan area was determined as the fourth metropolitan area of Zhejiang Province in 2011, and it is planned to become a mega city with more than 2 million people in 2020.
