I had a convenience store sandwich and veggie salad for a snack this morning before heading back to Kudoyama. Walking through the village to get to where the morning program was going to be, I passed by a ninja, and many bonsans or bozus chanting at various houses. Like, I mean, there were dozens of them all over the village. Toward the end of the video you’ll see them marching to the train station. I asked a policeman where they were going and he thought maybe back to Koya mountain. The morning program started with various singing and dancing acts. I took a short break and visited Jison-in Temple. Went back to the morning program. I think one act was that of an established pop-singer but I don’t know anything about the new Japanese singers. He was signing autographs of his CDs after his act. Then the main actors of the Sanada Festival appeared. In their realistic costumes, you feel like you’re part of the NHK Sanada Maru Taiga Drama. They were introduced on stage and then they marched off through the town. I called it day and started my way back to Izumisano. Caught the big crowd at the train station. It was an interesting ride with us packed like sardines for the first 3 stations. Then we had to change train, thankfuly this time to an express to Tengachaya and another transfer to another express to Izumisano Station. At Izumisano station I walked around a bit and found a 100-yen shop called Watts. Didn’t buy anything as I didn’t have any shopping list. I had an evening snack from the convenience store and called it a day. This is the last video from this trip.

Welcome to Japan's very own boob temple. Nestled at the base of Mount Koya, in the small town of Kudoyama, the Jison-in temple is probably one of the most unique Buddhist temples in the country.The temple looks just like any other temple from the outside. But as soon as you set foot inside, the interior designs remind you that you are in a very special place. Inside, visitors will find thousands of wood plaques featuring breasts made of foam and fabric, plastic, or paint.The Jison-in temple was originally created as an entrance to the holy Mount Koya. But when a doctor came along with a special prayer for one of his breast cancer patients, things inside the temple began to change. He requested permission to bring an offering in the shape of breasts to the temple. The priests agreed and soon a new tradition was born.

少し遠出が出来たので高野山のふもと、九度山町にある「弘法大師の母公の寺 女人高野 慈尊院」まで足を伸ばしてみました。
家族の健康のため、子供の健やかな成長のため、また乳がん平癒のためと、と女性の切なる願いが溢れていました。
As I was able to go out a little, I tried to extend my feet to the Kobodaishi's Mother Temple, Nyonin Koya(women's Koya), Jisonin in Kudoyama Town at the foot of Koyasan.
It was full of women's desire to have family health, for the healthy growth of children, and for healing of breast cancer.

स्तन मंदिर - इस मंदिरमे होती है स्तनों की पूजा
दुनिया में आपको तरह-तरह के मंदिर देखने को मिलेंगे। ये मंदिर अपनी अजीबोगरीब प्रथा के चलते जाने जाते हैं। ऐसा ही एक मंदिर जापान में है जहां किसी भगवान की नहीं बल्िक ब्रेस्ट की पूजा होती है। ऐसा क्यों होता है
महिलाएं चढ़ाती हैं ब्रेस्ट
लोग कब और कहां किसकी पूजा करने लगें यह कोई नहीं जान सकता। अब जापानियों को ही देख लीजिए। इन्होंने एक अनोखे मंदिर का निर्माण किया है। जहां किसी भगवान या ग्रहों की पूजा नहीं बल्िक महिलाओं के ब्रेस्ट की पूजा होती हैं। जी हां इस मंदिर में आपको हर तरफ ब्रेस्ट ही नजर आएंगे। लोग यहां पर मन्नत मांगने के लिए ब्रेस्ट चढ़ाते हैं। ये डमी ब्रेस्ट होते हैं।
क्या है इसके पीछे की कहानी
रिपोर्ट की मानें तो यह पूजा सेफ प्रेगनेंसी और ब्रेस्ट कैंसर से बचने के लिए की जाती है। यह मंदिर ब्रेस्ट की देवी Chichigamisama का माना जाता है। कहा जाता है कि यहं पूजा करने से Chichigamisama देवी औरतों के स्वास्थ्य से सम्बंधित परेशानियों को दूर करती हैं। इसके पीछे एक कहानी प्रचलित है। कुछ साल पहले वाकायामा शहर की एक डॉक्टर ने यहां ब्रेस्ट कैंसर से जूझ रही अपनी एक पेशेंट के लिए प्रार्थना की थी और देवी के सामने स्तन चढ़ाए थे। जिसके बाद वह पेशंट ठीक हो गई। इसके बाद ही यहां ब्रेस्ट चढ़ाने की प्रथा चल रही है।
ब्रेस्ट के आकार के फव्वारे
इस मंदिर की सबसे बड़ी खासियत है कि यहां का डेकोरेशन भी ब्रेस्ट की तरह ही किया गया है। यानी कि हर जगह अलग-अलग साइज़ के ब्रेस्ट दिखाई देते हैं। यह कपड़े और अन्य मैटेरियल से बनाए जाते हैं। इतना ही नहीं, इस मंदिर में ब्रेस्ट के आकार के फव्वारे और मूर्तियां भी बनाई गई हैं।

I went to Koyasan on foot.
町石道（ちょういしみち）は、慈尊院（和歌山県伊都郡九度山町）から高野山（和歌山県伊都郡高野町）へ通じる高野山の表参道です。
Choishi-michi is the Omotesando of Koyasan that leads from Jison-in (Kudoyama-cho, Ito-gun, Wakayama) to Koya-san (Takano-cho, Ito-gun, Wakayama).
弘法大師が高野山を開山して以来の信仰の道とされてきました。
It has been a religious path since Kobo Daishi opened Koyasan.
