This is my last trip with a local in China. I prefer non-Chinese travel mates. They are easier to travel with. The scenery takes your breath away. I had trouble with the altitude. If I go here again I will go slower, eat more and drink more water.

The Dujiangyan irrigation system was originally constructed around 256 BC by the Qin dynasty as a water conservation and flood control project. This is the oldest water conservancy plan for irrigation that is still functioning today.

At the beginning of the world, a white horse warrior meets a young beautiful girl from Qiang Minority. They fall in love with each other and live happily together in Jiuzhaigou Valley. Sadly, two devils are jealous of their happy life. Thus, they seize the young girl, destroy their land and separate her from the white horse warrior. The warrior is very angry so that he leads his fellows to fight the demons. Eventually, he saves his girl after killing the demons. As a result, heir land revives. The white horse warrior lives happily again together with the Qiang girl.
At the end of the Jiuzhai Paradise & Dream Journey, the heavenly gate on the stage will be opened. The audience can pass through the gate to reach a square where they can enjoy dance performances and taste roasted lamb.

Potatso National Park is located in the centre of Three Parallel Rivers world natural heritage area, belonging to northwest of Yunnan Province,China. It is made up of the wetlands of international importance Bita Lake Nature Reserve and the Three Parallel Rivers world natural heritage Redhill Area’s Shudu Lake. The park is 22 kilometers away from the Shangri-La county.The park is in Northwestern Yunnan Province’s alpine cold temperate coniferous forest vegetation zones, the highest point of it is in the northern peak of Mi li Tang mountain, 4159 meters above sea level. Potatso National Park is the first national park in China, which set environmental protection, ecological and cultural tourism, environmental education and community benefit functions as one, under the premise of protecting the country and the world natural and cultural heritage, sightseeing opportunities for domestic and foreign tourists.

Pingyao is a Chinese city and county in central Shanxi province. It lies about 715 km from Beijing and 80 km from the provincial capital, Taiyuan. During the Qing Dynasty, Pingyao was a financial center of China. It is now renowned for its well-preserved ancient city wall, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Pingyao still retains its city layout from the Ming and Qing dynasties, conforming to a typical bagua pattern. More than 300 sites in or near the city have ancient ruins. Preserved Ming- and Qing-style residences number close to 4,000. The streets and storefronts still largely retain their historical appearance.
In the Spring and Autumn Period, the county belonged to the kingdom of Jin. It was part of the kingdom of Zhao in the Warring States Period. In the Qin Dynasty, it was known as Pingtao. During the Han Dynasty, it was known as Zhongdu county. In 1986, the People's Republic of China designated Pingyao as one of the Chinese Historic and Cultural Cities. It became a World Heritage Site in 1997, included also the outlying Zhenguo Temple and Shuanglin Temple.

Chengdu (Chinese: 成都; Sichuanese: Cengtu UK: /ˌtʃɛŋˈduː/, US: /ˌtʃʌŋ-/, Standard Mandarin: [ʈʂʰə̌ŋ.tú] (About this soundlisten)), formerly romanized as Chengtu, is a sub-provincial city which serves as the capital of the Chinese province of Sichuan. It is one of the three most-populous cities in Western China, the other two being Chongqing and Xi'an. As of 2014, the administrative area housed 14,427,500 inhabitants, the largest in Sichuan, with an urban population of 10,152,632. At the time of the 2010 census, Chengdu was the fifth-most populous agglomeration in China, with 10,484,996 inhabitants in the built-up area including Xinjin County and Deyang's Guanghan City. Chengdu is considered a World City with a Beta + classification, according to the Globalization and World Cities Research Network.
Chengdu is located in central Sichuan. The surrounding Chengdu Plain is known as the Country of Heaven (Chinese: 天府之国; pinyin: Tiānfǔ zhi Guó) and the Land of Abundance. Its prehistoric settlers included the Sanxingdui culture. The site of Dujiangyan, an ancient irrigation system, is designated as a World Heritage Site. The Jin River flows through the city.
Founded by the state of Shu prior to its incorporation into China, Chengdu is unique as a major Chinese settlement that has maintained its name mostly unchanged throughout the imperial, republican, and communist eras. It was the capital of Liu Bei's Shu Han during the Three Kingdoms Era, as well as several other local kingdoms during the Middle Ages. During World War II, refugees from eastern China fleeing from the Japanese settled in Chengdu. After the war, Chengdu's importance as a link between Eastern and Western China expanded, with railways built to Chongqing in 1952, and Kunming and Tibet afterwards. In the 1960s, Chengdu became an important centre of China's national defense industry.
Chengdu is now one of the most important economic, financial, commercial, cultural, transportation, and communication centers in Western China. Its economy is diverse, characterized by the machinery, automobile, medicine, food, and information technology industries. Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, a hub of Air China and Sichuan Airlines, is one of the 30 busiest airports in the world, and the Chengdu railway station is one of the six biggest in China. Chengdu also hosts many international companies and more than 12 consulates; more than 270 Fortune 500 companies have established branches in Chengdu. Chengdu is the seat of the Western Theatre Command region of the People's Liberation Army. Chengdu will host the Summer Universiade in 2021, an international multi-sport event. It is considered one of the most livable cities in China.
Chengdu's culture largely reflects that of its province, Sichuan; in 2011, it was recognized by UNESCO as a city of gastronomy. It is associated with the giant panda, a Chinese national symbol, which inhabits the area of Sichuan; the city is home to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding.
LiYu Lake (鯉魚潭), Puli, Taiwan, 9/13/2018
In Taiwan there are so many lake called Liyu Lake. This one is located in the east of Puli Town, the center place of Taiwan Island.
In Chinese liyu means carp, it is one kind of fish in Taiwan.
Around the lake there is a walk path. The total length of that walk path is about 1.3 kilometers.
This lake was about 46 acres, and was famous for its natural beautiful scenery.
It will spend 10 to 15 minutes driving, if you start from Puli.
