The most beautiful place in China! | Spring Festival in Jiuzhaigou, Day 4 and 5
Spring Festival is China's biggest and most important holiday. It's like Christmas and New Year's Eve in one holiday!
From February 7th to February 14th, 2016, we got one week off from work, so my friend and I decided to spend an amazing week at Sichuan province, the home of Pandas and spicy food.
On our fourth day in Sichuan, we went on a 10-hour bus ride through the mountains and up to the valley and national park of Jiuzhaigou. As you can see in the video, we spent the evening of our 4th day hanging out with tibetan locals at a KTV.
On the fifth day, we spent the whole day to explore Jiuzhaigou National Park.
Here is the website for the Jiuzhaigou National Park:
As you might have heard the bad news a few weeks ago, an earthquake hit Sichuan and with it this beautiful National Park. A lot of natural sights were destroyed, with it, the Nuorilang Waterfalls which you can see at the end of the video. They were the tallest waterfalls in China, now it's just a heap of mud! Once again, this shows that we should never wait for a trip we want to go on.

Jiuzhaigou [九寨沟], China | Travel Video
A montage of my travels to Sichuan, featuring Jiuzhaigou (九寨沟), Mt. Emei, Leshan Buddha, Chengdu etcetera.
Jiuzhaigou Valley (九寨沟), is incredibly scenic and magical. The waters are almost dreamlike. Waterfalls resembling traditional chinese paintings. A five coloured pond that glistens and sparkles off the sun. Lakes so crystal clear that it mirrors the landscapes above them. Witnessing it for myself, I can vouch that the place is so breathtaking that it truly deserves the nickname Fairy Land.

12 Breathtaking Photos of Jingbian Wave Valley, Shaanxi
In Longzhou Township, Jingbian County, Shaanxi Province, there is a little-known Danxia landform called “Wave Valley”, which unreservedly displayed a world of wonder shaped by wind, water and time over millions of years.
The unique Danxia landform are various landscapes found in China that consist of a red bed characterized by steep cliffs.
The texture lines of sandstone are ever-changing, some like waves, some like flowing water, spirals, and their shapes are unique.
It is said that the landscape is comparable with the Wave, a sandstone rock formation located in Arizona, United States.
These formations show different colors at different times and various shapes from different angles, looking grand and magnificent.
The complex bedding surface of the rocks in the Valley of Waves consists of huge sand tunes that have started to deposit since one hundred and fifty million years ago in the Jurassic Period.
The sand tunes continued to be covered by red sands which underground water has been impregnating layer by layer. After a considerable period of time, the mineral substances in the water condensed sands into sandstones and form a laminated structure.
Walking on along the traces of red stones, you will feel a very strong sense of visual impact and cannot help but exclaim over the superlative craftsmanship of Mother Nature.
Hukou Waterfall Draws Tourists With Rare Views
It's a better-late-than-never with the Hukou Waterfall in north China's Shanxi Province. A warmer winter has delayed the expected closure of the ice bridge over the Yellow River. But it is finally closing.
Holiday-makers of the ongoing Spring Festival on Saturday are taking pictures of the closure of the ice bridge. This phenomenon occurs in winter when floating ice drifting downstream and temperature goes down to freeze the ice and form a white dragon ice cap over the Yellow River for a while.
Located along the valley separating north China's Shanxi Province and northwest China's Shaanxi Province, the Hukou Waterfall is the second largest waterfall in the country. The largest is the Huangguoshu Waterfall in southwest China's Guizhou Province.
The Hukou Waterfall is a famous attraction on the middle reaches of China's second longest river and is formed due to the abrupt narrow-down of the embankments.

Description
Jiuzhaigou, Sichuan
Jiuzhaigou is probably the most beautiful natural wonder and mountain reserve in the world. Many outside of China have probably never heard of this place. The lakes on this mountain has the most beautiful and unusual blue/emerald colour and the water is pristine and clear. Despite being in May, we were pleasantly surprised by the snow fall as we left the mountain. Grace and I met a bunch of great emigrant Chinese folks from the USA, Australia and NZ on the same tour.
