Spending the day by the sea (Jogashima Island + Miura Beach)
It was a public holiday so we rented a car, picked up some friends, and drove off to #Jogashima.
It wasn't that far so it was perfect to go on a short notice. We stopped by #Miura beach as well to appreciate the sun as it was closing in on winter already.

Jogashima is on the Muira peninsula about 30 min from Yokosuka Navy Base in Kanagawa Japan. There is hiking and a cool lighthouse. The beach is beautful as are the views. I hope you enjoy this road trip day trip to Jogashima park, not too far from Yokohama and Tokyo.

I'm back with a travel vlog from my day trip to Miura, Kanagawa using the MISAKI MAGURO PASS which you can easily buy at Shinagawa Station for around 3,500 YEN.
I absolutely loved how easy it was to get to and from Miura as well as all the inclusions in the pass. I HIGHLY suggest you take a day trip from Tokyo and Miura would be at the top of my list.
Absolutely beautiful, so many things to do, see, and eat! If you LOVE tuna donburi (maguro in Japanese) then this is definitely the place for you. :)

Today I am visiting Jogashima Island, which lies at the tip of Miura Peninsula and is a Day Trip from Tokyo. Beautiful Island!
Jogashima Island
Jogashima Island is about 2 hours drive from Tokyo, about 1 square kilometre in size and located on the southern tip of the Kanagawa peninsula. The island is reach by crossing a toll bridge and is exposed to the ocean on the southern side. On this day there were a lot of people fishing and taking advantage of the great weather and the spectacular natural scenery of the island.
#8 “Walking in japan” Enoshima Island（江ノ島）
Enoshima is island even if it is said to be connected by a bridge, you can go by foot or by car.
Since holidays are very crowded, we recommend going on foot from the station.
Enoshima shrine, souvenir shop, there are lots of restaurants.
On the top of the island there is an observatory and you can wish for Mount Fuji when the weather is nice.
In the summer you can also play at the seaside rocky place.
