Loxahatchee Adventure - Jonathan Dickinson state park Florida
Join me as I find adventure solo backpacking, kayaking, and camping along the Loxahatchee River in Jonathan Dickinson State Park & More
Thank you for watching Florida Girl Adventure videos. A few years ago, I started this project of making videos while I was out 'adventuring' to share with my family. As you see I am a solo hiker, kayak-er and camper and I wanted my husband and daughter to be able to see the sites and share some of my experiences, without all the bugs, dirt and heat of actually being there. In December 2015 I went live with my first videos to Youtube and they were received successfully from the viewers. With that I have been encouraged to keep sharing my videos with you. I know that people from totally different states who may never make it to Florida might get to see some back wooded area, some swamp, or some local gathering hole that they otherwise would never have seen.

Inlets of Hutchinson Island 1515 to 1900 - Todd Thurlow
See my sister's blog about this video:
This video is a time capsule review of the inlets of Hutchinson island that appeared on maps between 1515 and 1900. It is a rough draft of a larger project that I wasn't going to post yet.
I planned to drop the music and break it down into 5 shorter videos which were the chapters of this longer one:
1. 1515 to 1871 Freducci, Jeffreys and Romans (0:00)
2. St. Lucie Sound 1763 to 1834 – 5 maps (2:29)
3. Gilbert’s Bar 1850 to 1861 – 4 survey maps (4:05)
4. Hurricanes and The Gap 1871 to 1882 – hurricane tracks and 2 maps (4:50)
5. Digging the St. Lucie Inlet 1887 to 1900 – 2 maps (5:50)
I believe there was an inlet, referred to on the old maps as The Gap, that reappeared in the mid 1800s. It was in the general area of today's Florida Oceanographic Society and probably opened and closed many times like the other inlets. Coincidentally the area was struck by back-to-back Cat 2 and Cat 3 hurricanes (5:01) around that time (sound familiar?). The Gap will be the topic of another project the I would like to post some day on Jonathan Dickinson because I believe that it could be described in his journal.
I will update this summary later...

[Wikipedia] WWHB-CA
WWHB-CA is a Class A, Azteca América-affiliated television station licensed to Stuart, Florida, United States, serving the Gold and Treasure Coasts of South Florida. It broadcasts a low-powered high definition digital signal on virtual and UHF channel 48 from a transmitter in unincorporated Martin County (southwest of Hobe Sound) on the Jonathan Dickinson State Park boundary. On cable, the station can be seen on Comcast Xfinity channel 21 (in Martin, Palm Beach, Okeechobee, and southern St. Lucie counties) and channel 24 (in Indian River and northern St. Lucie counties), as well as on digital channel 611.
Owned by the Sinclair Broadcast Group, WTCN is sister to West Palm Beach-licensed CBS affiliate WPEC (channel 12), Fort Pierce-licensed CW affiliate WTVX (channel 34), and Palm Beach-licensed Class A MyNetworkTV affiliate WTCN-CA (channel 43). All of the television outlets share studios together on Fairfield Drive in Mangonia Park (with a West Palm Beach postal address).
Due to WWHB's Class A status, the station's low-powered directional antenna pattern prevents it from reaching Vero Beach (to the north) and Boca Raton (to the south). In order to expand the broadcasting radius, WWHB is simulcast in standard definition on WTVX's second digital subchannel. This signal broadcasts on virtual and UHF channel 34.2 from a transmitter, southwest of Palm City and I-95/SR 9, in unincorporated Martin County.

went to jensen beach in the town of jensen beach. as you can see there, it went from nice day to big ass storm.
finally ending it with a chinese dinner but the food was horrible. and I usually am not picky with food so that says somthing.........I'm such a fat ass :'(
