Jordan Peterson - **IMPROVED AUDIO VERSION** - Iceland Tour 2018 - Lecture 1
I've used a compressor and then EQ'ed the voices for optimum clarity and listening pleasure. Here are Dr. Peterson's notes for this video:
There are two videos from Iceland, covering different material. This is the first. The second is at (TBA). I have been touring since January, discussing my books, 12 Rules for Life and, to a lesser extent, Maps of Meaning (see jordanbpeterson.com/events for details, including upcoming tour dates and cities.
I was in Iceland in June and gave two lectures (June 04, Lecture 1; June 05, Lecture 2), followed by a Q and A. I was hosted by Gunnlaugur Jonsson, who also introduced both talks.
I've been using the lectures as an opportunity to extend, develop and publicly test the ideas I presented in 12 Rules and Maps of Meaning.
My wife Tammy and I had a remarkable and memorable trip to Iceland. My mother and aunt also came for the adventure, and were treated with exceptional care by Gunnlaugur and his crew. We are looking forward to returning to Iceland in 2019.
Thank you very much to Halldór Fannar Kristjánsson (Sigurgeirsson) for the video recording and editing.

BarHopping Reykjavik Iceland
The day before my birthday, I spend the evening bar hopping all over Iceland's capitol, Reykjavik, come along with me as I go to bars like, The Hard Rock Cafe, The American Pub, The Drunk Rabbit, The English Pub, The Chuck Norris Bar, and the one and only Labowski bar. Find out how much beers cost in Iceland, how much are meals at the bars, and enjoy Joe's night out on the town in Iceland.
72 Hour Stopover in Iceland
72 Hour Stopover in Iceland
►Read the blog:
If you’re planning a trip to Europe from North America (or vice versa), consider taking Icelandair for a stopover of up to 7 days in Iceland with no additional charge to your fares. Join me for #MyStopover experience: 72 hours in Iceland!
My journey starts in Iceland’s capital city of Reykjavik, which serves as my home basel. I visit the iconic Sun Voyager sculpture, Church of Hallgrimskirkja (with the most incredible views over Reykjavik), statue of Leif Eriksson and what is claimed (and confirmed) to be the country’s most delicious hot dogs. Only 25 minutes outside the airport- Reykjavik is amazing!
Next up during my 72-hour stopover is a flight aboard the Hekla Aurora- the newest airplane in the Icelandair fleet. With its own mini Northern Lights show and brand new everything on board- it’s an experience well worth the hype! From here I take the 90-minute inaugural flight and land back in Reykjavik. The next day we drive to the Gullfoss Waterfall (Iceland’s most popular), pay a visit to the region's most famous geyser (going off 120 feet every 4-8 minutes), the ancient crater of Kerio and wash it all down with Iceland’s best lamb shank at Frost & Fire Hotel (cooked underground from the geothermal heat!)
Stuffed from lamb & bread, we then head off on an ATV Safari for a outdoor adventure and some more incredible views over Reykjavik. After the fun, we get down to some serious business with one of the most loved and hated foods in the world: fermented shark. Despite causing slight olfactory damage, I stomach the test!! Rewarded for my efforts, I am able to live a lifelong fantasy of visiting Iceland’s Blue Lagoon. A giant, man-made pool of geothermal waters, this remedial pool is said to have incredible healing powers for those suffering psoriasis. With over half a million visitors every year, there’s no doubt that the waters are magic! After a serious soak and scrub, I reluctantly head back to the airport from #MyStopover in Reykjavik. If you’re traveling the Europe/North America route, make sure to book with Icelandair and take advantage of this incredible travel opportunity!!

Walk around Reykjavik Iceland with Joe Byron
In April of 2018 I got to visit Iceland for three weeks and it is an amazing country, I went to every part of Iceland while I was there as well, the very popular southern parts, the northern parts, the Eastfjords, and my favorite section, the Westfjords. In this video I showcase some of my time in Iceland Capitol, Reykjavik, showing you some of the cool hot spots to see and do while in this charming city, home of only 225 thousands people, there are usually just as many tourists in Iceland as locals. In this video I show you the toy museum, the main streets, the Lebowski Bar, the city central, the flea market, the famous hot dog cart and I take you along every major street in hyperlapse format as well, several time lapses are also included and the last shot being a cool drone shot from the city central, so sit back and let me show you Reykjavik Iceland.....

HairCutHarry gets a tour of Hárskeri Almúgans - Common Joe's barbershop by owner/barber Jökull Jörgensen. Located in downtown Reykjavik on the main commercial street at Laugavegur 62, this unique barbershop is probably the most photographed shop in Iceland and for a very good reason!
The shop a personal creative canvas for Jökull who describes himself as, “… old school in a modern way.” Jökull is a musician, writer and songwriter who has channeled this creativity into the interior design of his barbershop!

Icelandic Phallological Museum - FULL VIDEO TOUR (Reykjavik, Iceland)
Visting the Icelandic Phallological Museum! LOL! Definately an interesting place to visit while in Reykjavík to say the least! The entry fee was around $14 (1700 ISK). Definately worth checking out if you're in the area! The weirdest part was probably the human penis LOL!

The Icelandic Phallological Museum is probably the only museum in the world to contain a collection of phallic specimens belonging to all the various types of mammal found in a single country. Phallology is an ancient science which, until recent years, has received very little attention in Iceland, except as a borderline field of study in other academic disciplines such as history, art, psychology, literature and other artistic fields like music and ballet. Now, thanks to The Icelandic Phallological Museum, it is finally possible for individuals to undertake serious study into the field of phallology in an organized, scientific fashion.
The Icelandic Phallological Museum contains a collection of more than two hundred and fifteen penises and penile parts belonging to almost all the land and sea mammals that can be found in Iceland. Visitors to the museum will encounter fifty six specimens belonging to seventeen different kinds of whale, one specimen taken from a rogue polar bear, thirty-six specimens belonging to seven different kinds of seal and walrus, and one hundred and fifteen specimens originating from twenty different kinds of land mammal: all in all, a total of two hundred and nine specimens belonging to forty six different kinds of mammal, including specimens from Homo Sapiens. It should be noted that the museum has also been fortunate enough to receive legally-certified gift tokens for four specimens belonging to Homo Sapiens.
