Jōren Falls (浄蓮の滝 Jōren-no-taki) is a waterfall in the Yugashima district of Izu city, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, in central Izu Peninsula on the upper reaches of the Kano River. It is a Shizuoka Prefectural Natural Monument. It is one of Japan’s Top 100 Waterfalls, in a listing published by the Japanese Ministry of the Environment in 1990.
According to Japanese folklore, this is home to the legendary mistress of the Jōren Falls, Jorōgumo; a spider that can transform into a seductive woman.

Joren waterfall , Japan (জাপানের জরেন ঝর্না)
Joren waterfall is one of the best 100 waterfalls in Japan. It has about 25m(85 ft.) height and is located on the middle of Izu in Shizuoka Prefecture. Many waterfalls including Joren waterfall in Izu were made by Lava from Volcano.

This Izu peninsula in Japan, where two tectonic plates meet. So the mountains are steep there and eathquakes happen time to time.
These are 7 cascading waterfalls after one and another within short distance.

Ito (伊東, Itō) is a famous hot spring resort town on the eastern coast of the Izu Peninsula. Due to its easy accessibility from Tokyo, the town is partially quite built-up, but also offers some historic buildings in its center, such as the Tokaikan, a historic, former ryokan open to the public. Outside the town center, Ito offers quite impressive natural scenery with its cliffy coast and hilly terrain.
About ten kilometers south of central Ito is Izu Kogen, a popular villa district and sightseeing destination with many small museums, restaurants, Mount Omuro and the beautiful Jogasaki Coast.

浄蓮の滝 の動画です。
浄蓮の滝は、静岡県伊豆市に位置し、日本滝百選の一つです。日本の名歌「天城越え」の歌詞にも出てくるので、知名度は抜群ですよね。
首都圏から浄蓮の滝までは、東名高速を使い、沼津インターで降り、伊豆縦貫道を通るのが一般的な気がします。沼津や三島は信号が多く、また伊豆半島に関しては道路があまり整備されていないので、結構混雑します。
近いと思いきや、なかなか時間がかかり、遠く感じるのがこの伊豆半島観光の難点でしょうか。
