Great view of the Bondhusbreen glacier. Bondhusbreen is an offshoot of the Folgefonna glacier in Norway. Folgefonna glacier is the third largest glacier in the mainland of Norway. 14 May 2005 Folgefonna National Park was established, protecting the glaciers and the surrounding areas. The glacier is home to a summer skiing resort, located on its northern region.

Nigardsbreen Glacier - This is one of the most accessible glaciers, where you can peer into the blue ice at very close range, and everyone above the age of five can join guides on glacier walks.
The Nigardsbreen Glacier is a glacier arm of the Jostedalsbreen Glacier, the larges ice-cap in continental Europe. The Glacier is situated by Lake Nigardsbrevatnet at Gjerde, a side valley to the Jostedal Valley. Between year 1700 and 1750, the Nigardsbreen Glacier expanded more than four kilometres.
The Stegastein viewpoint juts 30 meters out from the side of the mountain, 650 meters above the Aurland fjord. The panoramic view of the fjord is unsurpassed and will take your breath away.
This is a part 4 of our trip to Norway. This is spectacular country with amazing nature and landscapes, this is a country of fjords. We've passed almost 7000 km by car in our 11 days journey.

Nigardsbreen is a glacier arm of Jostedalsbreen - Europe's largest glacier. I was flying the drone early in the morning, when the guides prepared path's for the soon-to-come hiking tourist.

Briksdalsbreen is one of the most accessible and best known arms of the Jostedalsbreen glacier. Briksdalsbreen is located in the municipality of Stryn in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. The glacier lies on the north side of the Jostedalsbreen, in Briksdalen (the Briks valley) which is located at the end of the Oldedalen valley, about 25 kilometres (16 mi) south of the village of Olden. It is located inside Jostedalsbreen National Park. Briksdalsbreen terminates in a small glacial lake, Briksdalsbrevatnet, which lies 346 metres (1,135 ft) above sea level.

Norway From Above: Pt 4 - Boyabreen Glacier
Incredible aerial drone footage of Boyabreen Glacier near Fjaerland, Norway. This is the fourth video of my adventures flying my DJI Mavic Pro on my trip to Norway in July 2017.
I flew from the shore of the lake (glacial tarn) at the bottom of the glacier all the way to the ice field at the top, 4000ft above, skimming along ice walls and over massive crevasses. A drone is truly the best way to see a glacier like this, which would be impossible to access on foot.

Cinematic FPV Norway || Glaciers, Rivers and Fjords
I spent 3 weeks traveling through the Aurland and Jostedalsbreen areas in Norway, mostly hiking and biking around this beautiful nature. I usually took the drone with me, just in case I could capture a few shots. I ended up in some amazing spots, with some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen. Only flew 2 or 3 lipo's at each location, but most of them turned out great!

That's what happened on the Glacier Nigardsbreen and Sognefjord
Nigardsbreen is a glacier arm of the large Jostedalsbreen glacier. Nigardsbreen lies about 30 kilometres north of the village of Gaupne in the Jostedalen valley, Luster, Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. It is located just west of the Jostedøla river.
The Breheimsenteret museum is located 11 kilometres south in the village of Jostedal. In front of the Nigardsbreen is the lake Nigardsbrevatnet where there is a small boat to transport visitors to the glacier.

In the second leg of our trip we have our first stopover at Stryn Norway. Stryn can come easily in the best places to visit in norway. We stayed at the Gryta Camping which is on one of the most beautiful lakes of Norway. Oldevatnet (Stryn) lake has some amazing views and waterfalls all around. From here you can see the Briksdals Glacier (Briksdalsbreen). Briksdals Glacier or Briksdalbreen is the most easily accessible glacier of Norway.
In my Travel Guide to Norway, Stryn is one of the main top destination, where Odevatnet lake and Briksdalsbreen are its highlights. Its a Most visit location of Norway.

In May 2018 I travelled from England to Norway to meet up with my cousins from California! Norway was incredible, the 'Land Of Waterfalls' did not disappoint and I was truly blown away by the beautiful of this place!
We spent some time in the beautiful city of Bergen before travelling up to Jostedal to hike a Glacier (an amazing experience!) and then onto Geiranger to catch the ferry through the fjord and to see the seven sisters waterfall!
