Adventure Notions - Sir Lowry's Pass - Cape Town - 2016
When you live in the most beautiful place in the world it very easy to showcase and show off just a few of the highlights of Cape Town. A journey through the most beautiful mountain pass was a must. A quick stop over became a mini hike.
Seek a new viewpoint, by climbing to new heights. Could the view be more superb from up there?
Yes!
We found a different way down and reminiscences of lives left behind. Empty shells, cracked structures that the earth was reclaiming. What stories lay in these walls? Times of happiness or sad? Memories that no longer exist.

Amazing Cape Town, South Africa--Video tour of the City, Cape Of Good Hope and Simons Town!
This video was shot in September, 2018 in and around Cape Town with some friends who had never been to Cape Town. We start out in the city, including the wonderful Victoria and Alfred waterfront area and take a ride on The Cape Wheel for some spectacular views over the city. We also take a trip up to Table Mountain, one of the New 7 Wonders Of Nature! Then we're off for a drive down the coast along the scenic Chapman's Peak Drive to The Cape of Good Hope. The scenery is stunning! Then we hit Boulders Beach in Simons Town to check out the cool penguins! We return to Cape Town and stop by historic St George's Anglican Cathedral to listen to some wonderful organ music. If you enjoy the tour, please give it a thumbs up. Thanks for looking and I hope you have a chance to visit incredibly beautiful area one day!

Harvest at Journey's End Vineyards January 2016
Trebuchet Wines of South Africa
Introducing the wines of Trebuchet, with a recreation of... well... a Trebuchet. As well as wines from the Western Cape of South Africa. Visit for our range of South African wines.
Speaker 1: This thing is monstrously strong.
Speaker 2: Deeply satisfying. We think it should go in a bit of a bang.
Wine tourism is a huge contributor to the economy in the Western Cape. You'll see that the landscapes are absolutely stunning. We've got a wonderful climate, a lot of people traveling from around the world and specifically Europe into the Cape, and as such, we have a large number of wineries that are very much focused on wine tourism, whether it be accommodation, wine tours, picnics, restaurants. So we are keen to contribute to wine tourism in the way that we, we feel we can.
We're surrounded by very, very good restaurants and one could have another restaurant, but we decided to provide something for people to do after they've had lunch. And just come and see our medieval siege weapon.
The whole trebuchet exercise is really built on passion. We like old things. We like history. We like heritage, but we also like to see what modern technology can do when combined with tradition.
Once the trebuchet is built and tested, we are very excited to be shipping it out to our local community, a village, near Stellenbosch, South Africa. We think it will bring a good deal of excitement to the village, to the school kids, to the families, and we think it should go with a bit of a bang.
Speaker 3: We've got that coastal climate here. We've got the influence from the wind that has a good, it's very positive for this area because it cools the vines down at night, and then also through the growing season at night, there's always this cold breeze running through the vines, which are helping with the longer ripening periods. In general we will get, I would say, almost like a modern, modern old world style of wine from this area.
We are in general about 3 degrees, 3-4 degrees Celsius lower than Stellenbosch, which also has influence on the wines. We are in the process, and we already planted some new varieties on the farm, because we don't want to just focus on single variety wines. We want to have Malbec, for instance, with the Merlots. We want to put a bit of Viognier maybe with some Savignon Blanc, or Chardonnay so we are in the process of planting new varieties, coming up with things that we can plow around with.
Speaker 2: The whole purpose of the Trebuchet is to support our many community projects at the bottom of our village where we run soup kitchens in the winter months, we have a Sunday school for the kids, we do the pensioner's lunch every two weeks, and musical lessons or so for the kids. What we want is a sustainable vehicle that will raise money for our projects where people can come, watch something being chucked across a field, and give donations if they feel suitably entertained.
Speaker 4: As it is, you know, it all comes down to attention to detail, and of course quality, I mean, it's our main goal, and I suppose most wineries' main goal is to produce top quality, premium wines.
Speaker 3: At this point in time, I think we can only move forward in a very positive way, I mean, there's still a lot of open land, and good soil and stuff to plant more grapes and stuff, so I think, let's say 10 years down the line, I can only see this farm just going forward from strength to strength and producing top quality wine.

King Arthur II & Prince Madoc's voyage to America in AD 562
Alan Wilson & James Michael present this lecture in a College of Kentucky - one of several that Alan lectured at in his lecture tour of 1992. James Michael sadly passed away in January 2008. Were it not for his dedicated work little of this Arthur research would be known in the USA today.
This full documentary contains not just a presentation lecture but also extra footage which has never been broadcast until now. You will be shown some of the vast amounts of evidence concerning the voyage of Arthur 2 and Prince Madoc sailing from Britain to America during the 6th century - almost a thousand years before Columbus.
Also covered later in the documentary is James Michael explaining the ancient British Coelbren alphabet, and its connection to many inscriptions found in the America.
The establishment crooks have written off this Coelbren alphabet as the creation of a Welsh-British Antiquarian called Iolo Morganwg during the19th century, yet the authors easily show in their books how this accusation is completely false and they give many examples of its use and notice CENTURIES prior to the time of the alleged forgery.
The documentary is not always good quality in parts as it was only converted in 2008 using old VHS tapes originally recorded in 1992. Despite this it is a brilliant and informative documentary of how history -- like most things -- has been manipulated and forgotten.
Alan Wilson is now 80 years old and still going strong. He and his life-long fellow researcher Baram Blackett have written and published nine books. They also have available several documentaries (old and new) documenting their researches and what happens when you discover things the establishment doesn't want discovered.
Their books published to date (oldest first) are as follows:
1 - Arthur, King of Glamorgan and Gwent.
2 - Arthur and the Charter of Kings.
3 - Arthur the War King
4 - Artorius Rex Discovered
5 - The Holy Kingdom
6 - The King Arthur Conspiracy
7 - Moses in the Hieroglyphs
8 - The Discovery of the Ark of the Covenant
9 - The Trojan War of 650 BC
These books can be purchased at:
