HIKING JUDD TRAIL (JACKASS GINGER POUND) - HONOLULU - OAHU - HAWAII

JUDD TRAIL and JACKASS GINGER POOL HD Waydes World Hawaii
HIKE (Easy/Moderate) CHILD FRIENDLY, but when crossing the first stream please watch and hold onto your children as they can fall into the stream. Depending on the season, the stream crossing with have access to the rocks to cross, at other times in the dead of winter the High Water flow of the stream may not allow you to have easy access to the rock crossing, meaning the flow will be strong and you will need to cross by treading in the water to get cross. It was another beautiful day in Paradise as we headed about 5 min off of Nuuanu Pali Drive to start a beautiful hike up Judd memorial trail. We pass SO many small waterfalls I lost count untill we came to Jackass Ginger Pool which is a large wide waterfall that has a huge pool below it. This is a place NO vacationers know about and the locals like it that way but if Vacationers do find this place and park at the start of the trail on side of the road there is a chance your renatl car could be broken into so please leave nothing of value in your car or in clear view, PLEASE! I have seen several cars broken into here. You have been warned. If I was you I would park my car in front of someones house on the road and walk down the street to the trail head. It will be safer, plus those braking into cars don't want to break into a locals car on that road. Locals know not to mess with locals. This is a super easy hike but you must make a WET and SLIPPERY River crossing right at the start, so be careful. Also for an added treat you can seek out the Kaniakapupu Ruins which was the Summer Home of King Kamehameha III. There is no map as far as I know on how to get there from the Judd trail but it is smack in the middle there. The place is sacred and maybe that is why they don't talk about it to vacationers but it does for sure link up with Lower Lulumahu Falls trail . Enjoy this GEM everyone! Aloha!

This is the second half of my Nuuanu hike. This is where I finally made it down to the Judd trail. Really nice trail with soo many pine trees! There just covered the whole trail so it was nice and cool. Along the way I heard some running water, and when I went to see, there were some small waterfalls and pools! Nice addition to any hike!
THE MANOA TRAILS, President OBAMA'S favorite park in HONOLULU (and WATERFALL) ????️
SUBSCRIBE: - The Manoa Falls and Trails has to be one of the most fascinating waterfalls and park on Oahu to be seen! Cascading 150 feet down the mountainside, it will seem more like 1000 feet as you stare up at the endless water falling down the rocks. Not many Oahu waterfalls are easy to travel to, that can also deliver such an impressive show! This is the park and the trails that President Obama likes to visit with his family every time he visits Oahu. The hike to Manoa Falls is both beautiful and adventurous! The Manoa Waterfall was used by Steven Spielberg while filming the 'Lost World'.
Honolulu, on the island of Oahu’s south shore, is capital of Hawaii and gateway to the U.S. island chain. The Waikiki neighborhood is its center for dining, nightlife and shopping, famed for its iconic crescent beach backed by palms and high-rise hotels, with volcanic Diamond Head crater looming in the distance. Sites relating to the World War II attack on Pearl Harbor include the USS Arizona Memorial.
The U.S. is a country of 50 states covering a vast swath of North America, with Alaska in the northwest and Hawaii extending the nation’s presence into the Pacific Ocean. Major Atlantic Coast cities are New York, a global finance and culture center, and capital Washington, DC. Midwestern metropolis Chicago is known for influential architecture and on the west coast, Los Angeles' Hollywood is famed for filmmaking.

Judd Trail + Pool
This video is about Judd Trail Hike. Judd Trail is a 1.2 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Urban Honolulu, Hawaii that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and walking and is accessible year-round.
HOW TO GET THERE: From Waikiki, get on H-1 heading west. Take the Pali Highway (route 61) exit and then veer right onto Nuuanu Pali drive. Park along the street near two horizontal concrete pillars that lay at the entrance to the marked Judd trailhead on the right side of the road. (Or park a mile sooner, near a busier neighborhood for optimal car safety.)

While in Oahu, we took a hike to the top of Judd Trail. The view was incredible. Have a look.

Honolulu, Oahu
Honolulu is the capital and the most populous city of the U.S. state of Hawaii. Honolulu is the southernmost major U.S. city. Although the name Honolulu refers to the urban area on the southeastern shore of the island of Oahu, the city and county government are consolidated as the City and County of Honolulu which covers the entire island.
Hike Hawaii - Upper Lulumahu Falls -2018
(5 Mi/ Intermediate/ Ridge/ Manoa)
After a long hiking hiatus Lainey joined me as we took a short side route, involved some seriously steep scrambling down, off the main trail to Konahuanui (the cloud shrouded pair of peaks at the back of Manoa Valley). After the muddy descent we found two small, but lovely waterfalls on Lulumahu stream. After a cooling dip we then endured the glue-like mud a second time, on the steep return to the main trail, before heading back.

Welcome to the Jungle - Makiki Loop Trail - Kid Hikes Oahu
#HikeHawaii #KidTravelHawaii #MyLittleCora
The Makiki Valley Loop Trail is right behind the Hawaii Nature Center and is about 2.4 miles long. This trail is made up of 3 individual trails: the Kaneolole Trail, the Makiki Valley Trail, and the Maunalaha Trail and connects to a longer 8 mile hike. Hiking with a 4 year old, we opted to hit the loop and made it about 3/4 of a mile in and then turned around. There is a lot to see and we will surely be back to this easy to hike trail. While we didn't catch any on camera we saw and heard many different birds. There is a small stream that feeds a taro patch and I'm sure we also saw a banana grove. The trail is wide and easy to navigate with your child. Hope you enjoyed this video! Get out and hike.

Manoa Falls Trail 11/22/2017 [HD]
Manoa Falls Trail 11/22/2017 [HD]. You park at the old Paradise Park parking lot for $5 and walk up the road until you see the Manoa Falls Trail sign. This is a valley hike that takes about 50 minutes (round trip) valley hike, I'm only showing you one way (25 minutes). This trail is usually a little muddy to very muddy. Watch for slippery wet rocks. Special thanks to (Kumu) Dr Sam 'Ohu Gon III for use of his Pule Pale which you can watch by scanning the code in the video or go to this link
