Hello everyone~ So for this video, I thought I'd try something a little new mixed in with my current vlogging style. I went to Gangwondo, a province on the Eastern side of South Korea with my friend Ellaine to visit Sam. Perjalanan lebih kurang 3 jam dari East Seoul Station ke Gangneung Station. Lepastu kami naik bas untuk pergi ke area Jumunjin Beach. Makan tengahari di Taeyanghaemulchon. Seterusnya ke pantai sehingga sunset dan bermalam di Sokcho. (1 jam dari Gangneung)

My Seoul to Gangneung Day Trip | KTX, Beaches, and Cafes VLOG
Hi guys! Last Saturday I decided to finally take the KTX from Seoul to #Gangneung over on the east coast of Korea. I spent the (very windy!) day exploring cafes, the beach, and a household that used to be where all the artists of the Joseon dynasty would stay to be inspired by nature :) Overall, a perfect day. We visited Jumunjin beach and although the water was freezing the view was absolutely stunning. We decided to go exploring and went to the fish market that goes on for miles filed with every possible sea creature your appetite desires. We also had lunch where the locals eat and found a delicious place that served the most tasteful assortment of fish including Mackerel and the best kimchi I have ever tasted. Then we walked the coast and saw all of the fishing boats on the harbor and took a very long walk to some beautiful light houses. It was a lovely day spent in a Korean beach.

I FINALLY WENT TO GANGNEUNG! i’m sad monique couldn’t come with me but i’m glad i managed to maneuver my way there hehe. like i said i’ll include the directions of how i got there under this lil paragraph hehe but keep in mind THIS IS AN ALL DAY TRIP!! i have a couple more videos coming too so stay tuned !
so the way i got to gangneung is from SEOUL!
1. take the subway to nambu bus terminal
2. go to the counter and tell the employee you want to go to JUMUNJIN EXPRESS BUS TERMINAL
(it will take 3 hours and costs 19,000 won!)
3. take the city bus to jumunjin haebyeon (20 minutes)
you can take bus number 300, 322, 314, 302, 304-1, 323, 328, 326, 325
4. once you get there there will should be signs indicating you’re at the beach and there are signs telling you where the YNWA bus stop is!
**i recommend using naver maps to help you out!
**you can also use naver maps to help you find the goblin location! it comes up when you search for it!

DAY1: ออกเดินทางจากโซล ที่ Seoul Station ด้วย รถไฟ KTX ใช้เวลาการเดินทางประมาณ 2 ชม. ก็ถึงสถานี Gangneung
ที่พักแนะนำนอนย่านเมือง ไม่ไกลจากสถานีรถไฟ จะมีรถเมล์วิ่งผ่านเยอะที่สุด
1st Stop: BTS Bus Stop หรือสถานีถ่ายทำอัลบั้ม You never walk alone เดินทางโดยรถเมล์สาย 300 ลงที่สถานี 주문진해변 (Jumunjin Beach) ใช้เวลาประมาณ 1 ชั่วโมง แล้วเดินต่ออีกประมาณ 5 นาที
2nd Stop: สถานที่ถ่ายทำ Goblin เดินทางโดยรถเมล์ สามารถมาได้หลายสาย มาลงที่ 원마트 (Won Mart) แล้วเดินต่ออีกประมาณกิโลนึง
3rd Stop: 사천진해변 (Sacheonjin Beach) มาโดยรถเมล์ 333-1 แต่ให้ดูตารางเวลาดีๆเพราะรถเมล์สายนี้วิ่งน้อย ประมาณทุกๆ ชั่วโมง โดยมาลงที่ป้าย Sacheonjin Beach บริเวณนี้มีหลายคาเฟ่และชั้นดาดฟ้า ให้นั่งชิล กินลมชมคลื่นได้ จากบริเวณนี้สามารถเข้าเมืองได้ด้วยรถเมล์สาย 312 หรือ 313 แต่รถน้อย ต้องเชคตารางเวลาดีๆ
DAY2 เดินทางออกจากโรงแรมไป 안목커피거리 (Anmok Coffee Street) ด้วยรถเมล์ ไปได้หลายสายและไม่ไกล แถวนี้เรียกว่า 안목해변 (Anmok Beach) สาขาแถวนี้จะแนวมากกว่าที่ไปมาเมื่อวาน มีหลายร้านให้เลือก แต่อ่านรีวิวมาก่อน เลยขอมุ่งไปที่ร้าน Long Bread ร้านมี 3 ชั้น มีทั้งเครื่องดื่มและเมนูอาหาร
เนื่องจากวันนี้กลับรถไฟรอบบ่ายโมงครึ่ง เลยทานเสร็จก็กลับเข้าเมืองแต่ถ้าใครมีเวลาต่อมากกว่านี้ สามารถแวะไปหาดต่อไปคือ 등명해변 (Deungmyeong Beach) แวะที่ร้าน 라라무리 (Raramuri) ซึ่งเป็นสถานที่ถ่านทำเรื่อง 남자친구 (Encounter)
2 days 1 night trip @강릉 (Gangneung)
DAY1: Depart from Seoul at Seoul Station by KTX train to Gangneung station. The journey takes around 2 hrs. We advice booking the hotel near the city center/ train station which is easier to get around by bus.
1st Stop: BTS Bus Stop or filming location for You never walk alone album jacket. We got to 주문진해변 (Jumunjin Beach) bus stop by bus no. 300. It took around 1 hr then 5 mins more walk.
2nd Stop: Goblin drama filming location. From BTS Bus stop we took bus (there are many buses going this direction) to 원마트 (Won Mart) bus stop then walk for 1 km.
3rd Stop: 사천진해변 (Sacheonjin Beach) from Goblin by bus 333-1 which runs every hour. So please check the timetable again. Get off at Sacheonjin Beach stop. There are many cafe for you to visit and chill. Then back to the city by bus 312 or 313 which also run every 1.5 hrs.
DAY2: Getting to 안목커피거리 (Anmok Coffee Street) by bus, it took around 30 mins from city center. You can enjoy pretty and hip cafe here.
If you have more time we recommend you going to 등명해변 (Deungmyeong Beach) and 라라무리 (Raramuri) where is the filming location for 남자친구 (Encounter) drama.

I had the opportunity to visit Korea two months ago, specifically touring around Gangwon Province (Gangwon-do) where the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics will be held at.
Gangwon-do is an up and coming province to go around when you are in Korea, specifically areas such as Gangneung and PyeongChang are two major hotspots that are absolutely beautiful for travellers.

Small trip to Jumunjin Beach, Gangneung, Gangwondo, Korea
Jumunjin is located in Gangneung. It takes more or less 2 hours to get there. It´s not that crowded compared to Haeundae beach in Busan.But worth visiting here. You can enjoy not only beach but also wonderful view of mountain.
