Wicksteed Park Railway
This 2ft gauge railway at Kettering in Northamptonshire opened in 1931. The track is a circuit about 1 1/4 miles long, around a lake. The resident locomotives are diesel powered, but on one weekend each year steam locos visit from other railways in the country. At the end of this clip, note the alarming burst of speed approaching the station! Filmed on 11 June 2011.
