Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG) is located in Mengla County of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture in southwest China's Yunnan Province. It is a national 5A tourist attraction, as well as a plant research institution affiliated with the Chinese Academy of Sciences.XTBG was founded in 1959. Over the past six decades, the garden has developed into one of the biggest tropical botanical gardens in China and across Asia. Watch and read please:

Wild Elephants Make Sensation on Highway in Southwest China
Wild elephants made a sensation during the Spring Festival holiday in southwest China's Yunnan Province by stepping on expressway and even into a village.
On Monday morning, a wild elephant strolled across an expressway near a toll station in Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture. After being informed of the situation, police took traffic control measures and asked onlookers to leave the site or stay in their cars.
The wild elephant crossed the expressway from west to east and entered into the nature reserve area. The whole process took about 20 minutes without causing any traffic accidents, said Zi Yurong, a traffic police.
On Thursday evening, five wild elephants appeared in a village in Yunnan's Pu'er City. The sight of those giant wild animals walking slowly in the village made villagers close their doors tight and climb on top of their houses to watch them. Those uninvited visitors did not leave until Friday morning.
