市川散歩 蓴菜池緑地を写す A stroll in Ichikawa;A park around Junsai-ike pond
I took a walk in the park around Junsai-ike pond.（蓴菜池緑地） At a small part in this park, there is an area with some small artificial ponds and Junsai plants are grown in them. Junsai（蓴菜、ジュンサイ)is well known as one of ingredients in Japanese traditional dishes,especially in the area whose centre is Kyoto. This is a very mysterious edible plant in appearance, it is a small,soft and,a bit thick leaf and is covered around with a soft transparent substance like jell.
