This is one of our favourite local(ish) beachside camps, Sandy Cape, Jurien Bay. Just a few hours north of Perth, Western Australia.
This trip we explore the Sandy Cape Recreation area, Stockyard Gully Cave, Lake Indoon Free Camp and the Pearson 4wd track. We also have a few chance encounters with the local wildlife.

Trip To Jurien Bay And Yallingup WA Australia
This is my friends and I on a roadtrip for a couple of days up north (jurien bay) and down south (yallingup). hope you will enjoy the video.
Jurien Bay Adventures with pinup Miss Lady Lace
Hello lovelies!
Last year I had the pleasure of working with Fate Photography along with a few of my favourite pinup girls, Miss Mon Mon and Miss Lillian Rose on a beach shoot for a cafe to use to put on the walls of their venue. It was one of the best days I've ever had at the beach and we produced some truly beautiful images.
Just last Wednesday we all took a road trip up to this venue, Family Affair Cafe in Jurien Bay. Jurien Bay is a beautiful coastal town in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, established in the 1950's. It's a two and a half hour drive from Perth. Lucky for me, Miss Lillian Rose and I carpooled together which made the long journey a fabulous time to catch up, as we both have busy schedules it had been far too long.

Throughout the day I filmed where I could and put together a video featuring photos from the day to share with you all the vintage fun we had!
We enjoyed a decadent coffee at Family Affair Cafe with a meet and greet with some of the locals, before heading to the beach to shoot on the jetty, and with a local car. Our final photoshoot location was visiting a local man's house, where his humble abode was built around an incredible large living room, which featured vintage cars, and hundreds of collectable motorcycles! Finally we returned to Family Affair Cafe for lunch before Lillian and I hit the road to head back to Perth.
It was a truly beautiful experience to visit this town, meeting some wonderful and visit this beautiful cafe. We're all hoping to visit again real soon!

Tour The Pinnacles With Kandu Holidays
Countless big limestone pillars from a stark landscape of yellow sand to form one of Western Australia's best attraction.
It's a real desert landscape in Nambung National Park, where the weather-beaten rock spires of the Pinnacles rises out of yellow dunes. Yet the park sits on the deep blue Indian Ocean, along a picturesque stretch of coast 3 hour's drive north of Perth.
After experiencing the spooky Pinnacles, stay in the fishing town of Cervantes, with its white beaches, coral reefs and Lake Thetis, a salt lake bursting with living fossils. Stand up close to a rich selection of wildlife in Badgingarra National Parks and find Jurien Bay's national forests and idyllic sandy beaches.
In places, the pinnacles can rise to 3.5 m tall. Some are rugged, sharp-edged columns, increasing to a point, while others look like tombstones. Kindly treat the pinnacles with regard and never ever get on these fragile structures.
Functions that offer hints to the origin of the Pinnacles can be seen by the astute onlooker. As an example, many pinnacles display cross-bedding structures, where the angle of deposition of the sand changes very abruptly. This suggests that the dunes from which the limestone bed was formed was initially set by the wind.
Some pinnacles have a mushroom-like shape, due to residues of a calcrete topping. The mushroom shape has actually formed because the capping is more difficult than the limestone below it and therefore weathers at a slower rate.
From Perth, you can go on a tour with Kandu Holidays along the Indian Ocean Drive, which stretches all the way to Exmouth on Ningaloo Reef. It's around three hours drive to Nambung National Park, which is also frequented by coach and bus charter tours from Perth.

From Dandaragan, we moved to our next base camp which was north of Jurien Bay and at Sandy Cape. We found a nice beachside⛱ spot to nestle in for a couple nights, which was great.
The following day we trekked down to The Pinnacles Desert Nambung for a look. Such a unique place which literally makes you feel like your on another planet????. We grabbed some happy snaps and also ran into Anthony, a fellow traveller doing a lap of Oz. TIP: Rusty was happily napping back at our van, BUT if your driving through with dogs, we got told the ranger station in Cervantes has dog kennels you can use for free while you nip into the Pinnacles ????????.
We then headed straight to the ‘lobster shack’ in Cervantes for lunch. Kurt got the half lobster???? and Amz opted for a simple fish and chips. A nice large restaurant, a bar and plenty of seating inside and outside. It was very busy with overseas tourists, when we were there. On our way out of Cervantes we ducked into Lake Thetis???? to see some stromatolites!
Whilst camped at Sandy Cape, we also did some day trips up around Green Head, Milligan Island, into Jurien Bay and out to the Stockyard Gully Cave ????. We even headed to a local snorkeling spot and found some underwater pinnacles! A total of 5 nights we spent at Sandy Cape campground. We loved watching the sunsets ????over the ocean, chatting to the fellow campers and just relaxing ocean side again.
Next stop up to Geraldton!
