JURIEN BAY FISHING. THE BEST SPOT! WHAT A CATCH!
A beautiful day out fishing in Jurien Bay, Western Australia at my favorite spot. Caught a few trevally then hooked something big. However, was moving but didn't feel like the usual thrashing fish; more like a dead weight. Plenty of weed around that day so thought it might have been a big clump of weed. Wound the line in then saw a piece of black pipe close to the surface, got the gaff onto it. Low and behold a lawnmower rises to the surface. What the heck is a lawnmower doing in the water 2 kilometers offshore near a rocky reef?
Would have rather caught a sunken treasure chest then an old VICTA MOWER!

On our way along the Australian West Coast we discovered the sand dunes of Sandy Cape. For me it was the first time stepping on the soft sand of a desert. Sandy Cape is just 15 min drive away from Jurien Bay and has besides the impressive dunes a beautiful beach to relax.
