A trip to Kallskär-Kökar (Sep. 2007): Weather was awful for most part of the trip (heavy rain and storm). Boat left the island earlier than was planned due to coming storm and rising waves.

Utö is Finland 's southernmost inhabited island and it belongs to the Pargas city of the former Korpo municipality.
Utö covers an area of 81 hectares.
Utö is Finland's oldest lighthouse place. The first lighthouse was built in 1753, but it was blown up in the Finnish War . The current lighthouse was built on the former site in 1814.

Fantastic northerly winds taking us fast and comfortably from Kökar (Åland) to Jurmo (Finland) with awesome late pm summer sunshine. Experience like this is not possible anywhere except on high nothern&southern latitudes as our arrival was around 9 pm.
Definately one of the days to remember and sailing can not get much better than this...

SY Lee departed Kasnäs towards Helsingholmen, Nauvo and Korppoo on a fabulous July morning. Many boats were enjoying these great sailing conditions. In the end X-99 passes us and then we chase them for a while. Positive surprice was that our fully loaded cruiser managed to stay with them until we took another routing towards Gullkrona fjärd after passing islands of Högsåra and Norstö.
Fantastic scenery, winds 10-12 knts true and warming up - summer vacation can not get better then this!

Aspö is a small village on the Aspö Island in Väståboland, Finland.Until 2009 it belonged to the municipality of Korpo.Its Finnish-language name is Haapasaari, although this name is seldom used.The village is known for its white limestone church that has a red brick roof.

Our sailing trip in Finnish Archipelago sea continued all the way down to Jumo. That rugged beautiful Island with great endless views. All the hospitality with local products were great, especially that warm smoked salmon that we tried. Also I had to do some maintenance work as the attachment for Autopilot was damaged during the sail. In addition to that, in Berghamn our anchor got stuck in the bottom and when I had to use force to lift it, it bended little bit so I had to fix that also.
Matka jatkui Berghamnista karun kauniiseen Jurmoon jonka näkymät eivät jätä kylmäksi saaristossa. Tämän mahtavan kohteen paikalliset tuotteetkin hivelevät makuhermoja, varsinkin savulohi mitä maistoimme. Jouduin myös tekemään vähän huoltotöitä, koska purjehtiessa autopilotin kiinnike rikkoutui. Sen lisäksi Berghamnissa ankkuri jäi pohjaan ja jouduin käyttämään voimaa sen nostamisessa jolloin ankkurin tukki vääntyi ja sen jouduin oikaisemaan.

Liikkuvasta veneestä ohjaaminen ei ole se kaikista helpoin tapa lentää ja kuvata (eikä ollut kaukana, että drone olisi dipannut aaltoihin :D ), mutta kaikki päättyi onneksi parhain päin.

This video is about Sailing Diana Ep. 6 Highest peak of archipelago sea and how to conquer it. We made a overnight trip to island in finnish archipelago called Pensar Syd. There is a guest harbour with a lot of activities and of course we checked out the sauna. We conquered the highest peak of archipelago sea and celebrated that. Some exciting nature trails were explored and once again found relics of military activities. Archipelago sea has been really fortified through out history.
