Places to see in ( Turin - Italy ) Juventus Stadium
Juventus Stadium ( Turin - Italy ) has been modernized as there were too many empty seats. It now seat around 40,000, Surrounding the ground is a very modern shopping center and parking for thousands of cars. There is also a museum with the trophies and all the club history In the background you can see the snow covered Alps.
Juventus Stadium ( Turin - Italy ) is well worth a visit for the true fan. It is extremely well- designed and no expense has been spared. In fact, the players seem to be pampered every inch of the way.
Great View, fantastic atmosphere! Unique issue is the small capacity! That's a pity that Juventus Stadium ( Turin - Italy ) is not legal for a possible final of Champions Leagues.
Turin is the capital city of Piedmont in northern Italy, known for its refined architecture and cuisine. The Alps rise to the northwest of the city. Stately baroque buildings and old cafes line Turin's boulevards and grand squares like Piazza Castello and Piazza San Carlo. Nearby is the soaring spire of the Mole Antonelliana, a 19th-century tower housing the interactive National Cinema Museum.
Turin's tourist attractions include the Mole Antonelliana, a strange, spire-topped building which features on the Italian 2 euro-cent coin. A good museum of cinema is housed in the building. Other Turin museums include the excellent Egyptian Museum. Piazza Castello is the heart of tourist Turin, home to grand palaces such as Palazzo Reale, the royal palace of the Savoy dynasty, and Palazzo Madama, previously a castle, prison, barracks and senate house. Around the Piazza - and indeed throughout Turin - you will find elegant historic cafes; an important part of Turin life. Turin is home to two major football clubs: Juventus and Torino. Juventus are one of the most successful and powerful clubs in Italy with a large fanbase through Italy and beyond, while Torino are the team of choice for many locals. Both teams play at the Stadio delle Alpi, a panoramically-situated stadium on the edge of town, with special bus connections on match days.
( Turin - Italy ) is well know as a tourist destination because of the variety of places you can enjoy while you are visiting the city of Turin.

Juventus Stadium, commercially known as the Allianz Stadium since July 2017, sometimes simply known in Italy as the Stadium, is an all-seater football stadium in the Vallette borough of Turin, Italy, and the home of Serie A club Juventus Football Club. The stadium was built on the site of Juventus' and Torino's former home, the Stadio delle Alpi, and is one of only three club-owned football stadiums in Serie A, alongside Sassuolo's Mapei Stadium and Udinese's Stadio Friuli. It was opened at the start of the 2011–12 season and has a capacity of just over 41,000 spectators.
Juventus played the first match in the stadium on 8 September 2011 against the world's oldest professional football club Notts County, on 8 September 2011 in a friendly which ended 1–1. Luca Toni scored the first goal in a 1–1 draw. The first competitive match was against Parma three days later, where Stephan Lichtsteiner scored the stadium's first goal in the 16th minute. Juventus only lost three matches of their first 100 Italian top-flight league matches at the Juventus Stadium. The stadium hosted the 2014 UEFA Europa League Final.
Juventus' previous permanent home ground, the Stadio delle Alpi, was completed in 1990 to host matches for the 1990 World Cup. The club's move from their previous ancestral home, the Stadio Comunale, to the Stadio delle Alpi was controversial. The new stadium was built at a great expense, was relatively less accessible, and had poor sightlines due to the athletics track. Despite Juventus being the best-supported team in Italy (with the highest television subscribers and away section attendances), attendance at the Stadio delle Alpi was dismal. Average attendance was only a third of the stadium's 67,000 capacity. The club bought the stadium from the local council in 2002, a decision which was popular with fans.
Juventus signed an agreement with Sportfive Italia which gave the company exclusive naming and partial promotional and sponsorship rights for the new stadium. In the agreement, Sportfive was given the rights to the name of the stadium from 2011 to 2023 for €75 million and to market the sky boxes and VIP seats. Because of sponsorship from German financial services company Allianz, the stadium is known commercially as the Allianz Stadium for six seasons from 1 July 2017 to 30 June 2023.
A 70-minute guided tour of the stadium is offered every day. Guests are taken around to see the dressing rooms, facilities, museum and the pitch. The tours were initiated in November 2011 and the first tour was led by former Juventus player and current board member Pavel Nedvěd. Audio guides are also available to foreign visitors in English, French, German and Spanish.

Stadio delle Alpi - Juventus FC Stadium (1990-2006)
The Stadio delle Alpi was a football and athletics stadium in Turin, Italy, and was the home of both Juventus Football Club and Torino Football Club between 1990 and 2006. In English, the name meant Stadium of the Alps, a reference to the nearby Alps mountain range. The stadium was demolished in 2009 and both football clubs moved to the rebuilt Stadio Olimpico. A new stadium for Juventus, the Juventus Stadium, was constructed on the site of the former delle Alpi and opened in 2011.
Designed by architect Studio Hutter, the Stadio delle Alpi was originally built in 1990 to host matches for the 1990 FIFA World Cup as a replacement for the aging Stadio Olimpico, then known as the Stadio Comunale. The stadium's original capacity was 69,041 fans. However, due to FIFA rules regarding the segregation of home and away supporters, the actual capacity was reduced to 67,229.
Construction on the stadium began in June 1988, and due to the use of prefabricated concrete, was complete within two years. The delle Alpi was built by the council of Turin, with both of the city's football clubs using it as their home ground following the closure of the Stadio Olimpico. It was originally intended to be used for not only football but also athletics. Therefore, an athletics track was constructed around the outside of the pitch. However, due to the lack of a warm-up track, the stadium was never used for a major athletics event.
The stadium was inaugurated on 31 May 1990 when a joint Juventus–Torino team defeated Porto 4–3. Due to escalating rental costs, disputes arose between the clubs and the city council. In 1994, the Juventus board investigated building a new stadium, which would be owned by the club. The UEFA Cup semi-final and final matches in 1994–95 were moved by Juventus to the San Siro in Milan, attracting an audience of 85,000. The Stadio delle Alpi was very rarely sold out in its history. Finally, in June 2002, Juventus purchased the delle Alpi from the council of Turin for a fee of around €25 million.
Torino was banned from playing Serie A for five matches inside the stadium in 2003 due to the violence that occurred on 22 February 2003 inside the stadium clash against Milan.
The stadium attendance record was 66,299, set during a UEFA Champions League semi-final (second leg) between Juventus and Real Madrid on 14 May 2003. During the 1990 FIFA World Cup, the stadium hosted (among others) a memorable second round match between Argentina and Brazil, as well as a semi-final between West Germany and England. Both matches attracting around 60,000 fans.
The stadium was one of the venues of the 1990 World Cup, hosting five matches. The first four involved Brazil; All their Group C matches (a 2–1 win over Sweden on 10 June, a 1–0 win over Costa Rica on 16 June and a 1–0 win over Scotland on 20 June) and their round of 16 match against Argentina on 24 June, a 1–0 defeat. The fifth match was the semi-final between West Germany and England on 4 July, with the match ending 1–1 but West Germany winning 4–3 on penalties.
The Stadio delle Alpi was demolished, with plans for a 41,475-seater venue and a number of restaurants and other facilities outside the ground. The new grounds of the stadium covers around 50,000 square metres. The stadium was completely demolished as of February 2009.
The running track, which was widely blamed for ruining the atmosphere in the stadium, was removed with the fans moved closer to the action.
The addition of this oval ring and set of VIP boxes protected with glass façades characterizes the new inner space. A movable roof covers the new seats and underground services integrates the complex.
This work was followed by the construction of a big commercial pavilion, down as one quarter segment of the stadium. A new Juventus training centre has also been built next to the stadium; this open area is characterized by artificial hills placed between football fields containing dressing rooms and underground parking; a set of light buildings for a gymnasium, a restaurant and a hotel completes the system.
Work began during spring 2009 and it was opened on 8 September 2011, at the start of the 2011–12 season.
