De Meir adalah shopping center paling besar dan penting di Antwerp dan Belgia secara keseluruhannya. Tempatnya begitu nyaman, bersih dan pedestriannya sangat nyaman dan lebar sekali. Plus sebelah kanan, kiri di kelilingi gedung2 yang megah dengan arsitektuurnya yang indah sekali, sehingga gak bosan danbisa memanjakan mata hehe
Di area de Meir ada bangunan jangkung yang sangat mencuri mata dan sangat populer di Antwerp, yaitu, de KBC toren ( KBC tower ) dan juga terkenal dengan sebutan, de Boeren toren. Gedung in mulai di bangun pada tahun1929 dengan ketinggian hampir mencapai 98m dan KBC tower adalah gedung pencakar langit pertama yang ada di Eropa. Wow keren, ternyata di zaman old, Belgia sudah mampu membangun gedung pencakar langit.
Kemudian di sekitar de Meir ada juga sebuah palace yang indah dan museum, Rubeunshuis. De Hand, juga adalah tempat pavorit bagi turis manca negara untuk berfoto/selfie, dan De Hand adalah sebagai symbool dari kota Antwerp.

Rebuilding The Antwerp Tower
Renovatieproject van de Antwerp Tower en omgeving. Al 2,5 jaar lang neem ik wekelijks foto's en video's van de evolutie van de heropbouw van de Antwerp Tower en Noorderlijn.Mijn doel is gedurende de werken zoveel mogelijk in beeld te brengen. Dit filmpje geeft een kleine preview van de grote werken aan en rond de Antwerp Tower, en het vele beeldmateriaal dat ik gedurende deze jaren heb verzameld. Later zal u hier nog meer beeldmateriaal kunnen bekijken, en zal ook de omgeving en Noorderlijn in beeld gebracht worden. The Boerentoren is a tall building in Antwerp, Belgium.Constructed between 1929 and 1932 and originally 87.5 m high, it remains the tallest building and the second tallest structure in the city after the Cathedral of Our Lady.Designed in Art-deco style, the Boerentoren may be considered one Europe's first skyscraper.It was the tallest building on the continent by roof height until in 1940 the Terrazza Martini Tower opened in Genoa, Italy.
