Santorini | Taking the Bus
If you don't have your own car on Santorini, the cheapest and most reliable way of getting around is by bus. The familiar green and cream intercity buses are a regular fixture of the Greek countryside, and on the islands they serve a vital function.
The main bus station at Santorini is at Fira, from where there are regular services to the port, airport, Ia and the main villages, with convenient bus stops on the way.
Buses are always on hand to take on disembarking ship passengers, and several times a day they can be seen climbing laboriously up the hairpin bends from the port to the top of the cliff and the outskirts of Fira.

How to Catch the Santorini Bus from Fira to Oia
If you're visiting Santorini Greece, you should know how to catch the Santorini Bus from Fira to Oia. This is the best and cheapest way to get around the island.
Some people call it Fira, others call it Thira. We call it Thira, so actually, we wanted to get a bus from Thira to Oia. Oia is where the famous blue domes of Santorini are located, and we wanted to find and photograph these famous domes.
Catching the bus turned out to be very easy, and remarkably inexpensive. The scenery of Santorini is breathtaking, which you will see on the video. Buckle up, and come for a scenic tour of Santorini!
