Hugging Kaanapali's two golf courses, Kaanapali Maui at the Eldorado by Outrigger is a five-minute walk or short golf-cart ride (by request) from a quiet, sandy beach. The resort has three outdoor pools—one with barbecues—and guests have complimentary tennis privileges at a neighboring resort. Special rates for the golf courses may be available and must be arranged through the front desk upon arrival.
Kaanapali Beach is known for its swimming, catamaran rides, parasailing, and other ocean play. Beach equipment and activities can be arranged on site (surcharge). A short walk along the sand leads to Black Rock, a famous lava promontory that was sacred to ancient Hawaiians and provides superb snorkeling.

This is an exterior view of the Maui Kaanapali Villas Resort. We didn't stay here. We actually stayed a bit further north at the Aston Papakea. From the outside, this looked like a very nice resort. The date is January 16, 2017.
