Borneo Eco Film Festival: Manik Rungus by Suara Community Filmmaking (2014)
This informative short film was shot in Kota Kinabalu to explore the traditional bead craft of the Rungus from Kudat, far north of the city. From a grandmother who has supported three generations of her family by her skills in bead crafting, to a seller on the Jejantas who explains the uses and significance of the Rungus beads and to the optimistic outlook of a representative from Kadaiku into the significance of the beads in the international market; the film brings the story of Manik Rungus into the personal lives of the community in KK.

#teamginawo's participation in the inaugural Tamaha Food Race organised by Sabah Tourism, Culture and Environment Ministry, Sabah Tourism Board and Sri Pelancongan Sabah on March 10, 2018.
The event was held in conjunction with the 100-year celebration of the Sabah Tourism building.
26 teams were given 12 food challenges from pit stops located all over Kota Kinabalu and Penampang.
Challenges include eating a variety of local and international dishes literally defining the term, ‘tamaha’ which means ‘greedy’ in the Sabahan dialect. Time penalty were given to the participants who failed to meet the challenges to avoid food wastage.
The participants in orange shirts, were seen going around the city in search of clues and challenges leading to local food outlets. They were judged based on food challenges, Instagram posts, and check-ins on Instagram during the race.
Uber was as the official ride for the event, other sponsors were, 2more (official drink), and ASK Creative as the official apparel sponsor.
Official food outlets include Grandis Hotel and Resorts, Horizon Hotel, Lava Burger Bakar, Kampung Noodle Fish and Recipe, Jom Penyet, Asia Rasa Cafe, the Hail’s, The Beer Factory, Kadaiku Sabah’s Souvenir & Handicraft, and Tempurung Ice Cream Cafe.
The much awaited cultural extravaganza – Sabah Fest returns with another spectacular show highlighting Sabah’s diverse people, cultures and traditions. The musical performance ‘AKI NABALU’ will be held on the 2nd to 4th of May 2014 at the Auditorium of Kompleks Jabatan Kebudayaan dan Kesenian Negara Sabah.

Sabah Fest 2016: Gulu Gulu - A Tribute to the Past
Sabah Fest is a celebration of Sabah’s rich and diverse cultures through musical theatre and exhibitions under one roof. This year, Sabah Fest takes audiences back in time with the staging of Gulu Gulu – a tribute to the past. Gulu Gulu (a Kadazan Dusun term which means ‘a long time ago’) focuses on the adventures, trials and tribulations of legendary Sabah warrior, Mat Salleh.
The musical performance ‘Gulu-gulu - A Tribute to the Past’ was held on the 29th - 30th April & 1st May 2016 at the Auditorium of Kompleks Jabatan Kebudayaan dan Kesenian Negara Sabah.
