Whanganui and Kai Iwi Beach - Spring 2018
An amazing weekend had in beautiful Whanganui. Rugged coastal beaches and not a person to be seen. My kind of weekend.
Music is called Know Me by Las Lunas featuring Frigga and is from the guys over at Epidemic Sound.

Kai iwi Beach
Just 14km west of Wanganui along Rapanui Road is Kai Iwi Beach. To get to this beach, turn off towards Mowhanau village. Patrolled during the summer, it is a safe beach for the whole family offering swimming, fishing and beachcombing, or just lazing in the sun. A children’s playground, toilet block and wood-burning barbeques are available, making it a great place for family picnics. The motorcamp is a 5 minute stroll from the beach making it an easy and affordable option for seaside camping holidays

I'm so excited, I started camping with a fearful half. I once ran to the beach in New Zealand. Stopping on a secluded beach and enjoying the scenery effortlessly. This is the first goal of this trip to the campervan. But I found people fishing at the beach. Did you catch the fish? Look happy is all focused on the beach. I wonder what kind of meat was caught. The hawk is coming. The name of the protruding head part of the head that resembles a hawk. You have to be careful with the venomous tail. I can enjoy fishing with fishing rods and bait. I do not pay any money. If you're lucky, you can have a delicious fish at the end of the day. It is a dome of great size. Are you caught? Yes I'm feeling sick ~ Grandfather who enjoys writing words. If it is this size, it is. It's a walk. It's a reasonably relaxed lifestyle. I do not have any troubles. I have this kind of nature, but what do people want more than this. I can not make as much money as people in other countries do, but the other benefits I get from living here are enough to make up for it. A big dome that was caught on the beach with only fishing rods and bait. It is clear that gifts are more precious than nature's money. I decided to enjoy a cup of tea in the natural surroundings of New Zealand. But reality is always different from planning. It does not matter whether it is instant coffee. Now this is a great cafe than anywhere else. My best cafe in the world. It is a happiness that only a camper car trip can give.

Kai Iwi Beach
A beautiful beach minutes north of Wanganui, a small city on the southeastern portion of New Zealand's North Island. Great place for shell collecting, and the first place the surf pounded as it echoed of the cliffs.

Wanganui Surf
A quick video showcasing Wanganui's north mole. Also features The Te Anau. This wreck was once a luxury transtasman passenger vessel. It was bought for use as a dismantled vessel and placed in the harbour basin in 1924 to extend the rock wall that creates still water for the port.
Built of mild steel, the Te Anau has resisted rust well. It was placed on top of the Enterprise, a sailing ship sunk there earlier for the same purpose
