➡ शोधकार्य के बाद विदेशी वैज्ञानिक मानते हैं कि वास्तव में महाभारत में परमाणु बम का प्रयोग हुआ था। 42 वर्ष पहले पुणे के डॉक्टर व लेखक पद्माकर विष्णु वर्तक ने अपने शोधकार्य के आधार पर कहा था कि महाभारत के समय जो ब्रह्मास्त्र इस्तेमाल किया गया था वह परमाणु बम के समान ही था। डॉ. वर्तक ने 1969-70 में एक किताब लिखी ‘स्वयंभू’। सिंधु घाटी सभ्यता (मोहनजोदाड़ो, हड़प्पा) में हुई रिसर्च में ऐसे कई नगर मिले हैं, जो लगभग 5000 से 7000 ईसापूर्व अस्तित्व में थे। यहां मिले नरकंकालों की स्थिति से पता चलता है कि मानो इन्हें किसी भयंकर प्रहार से मारा गया था। इसके भी सबूत मिले हैं कि यहां किसी काल में भयंकर ऊष्मा और रेडिएशन पैदा हुआ था, जैसा कि किसी परमाणु बम के विस्फोट के बाद पैदा होता है। इन नरकंकालों का अध्ययन करन से पता चला कि इन पर रेशिएशन का असर भी था।

Hastinapur - In The Land Of Mahabharata

Situated in the state of Uttar Pradesh near Meerut, on the banks of the river Ganga, Hastinapur traces its roots to the times of Mahabharata and according to the epic, it was the capital of the Kauravas. Legend has it that the Great War of Mahabharata was fought between the Pandavas and Kauravas. The Pandavas won the battle and ruled Hastinapur for the next 36 years till the beginning of the Kalyug Age. Many astrological, natural, geographical, physical, inscriptional and scriptural evidence have been found that support the validity of the above belief. The Archaeological Survey of India has been carrying out excavations in many parts of this town and has unearthed several temples and other ancient monuments. Hastinapur is also sacred to the Jain community. Of the 24 Jain Tirthankars, the 16th, 17th and 18th were born here. The town also attracts a fair share of Jain pilgrims every year. Tourist Places In And Around Hastinapur As said, Hastinapur is revered both by the Hindus and Jain community. There are several places of interest including Old Pandeshwar Temple, Karn Temple and Lotus Temple. The Jain community finds representation in the Digambar Jain Bada Mandir, Jambudweep MandirJain Jambudweep Mandir and Shri Shwetambar Jain Temple. Other places of interest include Kailash Parvat, Ashtapad and Hastinapur Sanctuary, which was founded in 1986.

Best Time To Visit Hastinapur The best time to visit Hastinapur is from October to March. The rest of the months are hot and dry. However, being an important pilgrimage town, Hastinapur attracts visitors the year round.

Mount Kailash is a 6,638 m (21,778 ft) high peak in the Kailash Range (Gangdisê Mountains), which forms part of the Transhimalaya in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China.

The mountain is located near Lake Manasarovar and Lake Rakshastal, close to the source of some of the longest Asian rivers: the Indus, Sutlej, Brahmaputra, and Karnali also known as Ghaghara (a tributary of the Ganges) in India. Mount Kailash is considered to be sacred in four religions: Bon, Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism.
According to Hinduism, Shiva resided at the summit of a mountain named Kailāsa, where he sat in a state of meditation along with his wife Pārvatī. He is believed to be the founder of Yoga and so is named as Adi-Yogi.
According to Charles Allen, one description in the Vishnu Purana of the mountain states that its four faces are made of crystal, ruby, gold, and lapis lazuli. It is a pillar of the world and is located at the heart of six mountain ranges symbolizing a lotus.
