Ochigo san is children who leads the parade in our traditional festival called Kainam Jinja Reitaisai (海南神社例大祭) held in my hometown Misaki Miura Kanagawa Japan.
This summer festival has been designated as important cultural properties of the town in 2017.
People in my town LOVE this festival so much and it is not only our tradition but also has an important role to connect people, men and women of all ages.
This festival is held every July -usually on the weekend of 2nd week of the month.
If you are looking for somewhere good for sightseeing in Japan, come to Misaki to see this FANTASTIC festival! :)
