Kakegawa Bird Park is a place where your family can enjoy with a new experience.This is a very unique bird park - the birds are not caged, which is a refreshing change!.There were wide variety of colourful birds.
Highly recommend anyone who has time to go there, and its only a short 10 min walk from Kakegawa shinkansen station.

We visited the bird park in Kakegawa, probably the only major attraction other than the castle there. We opted for the bird park because we'd seen many castles already in Japan. It was a pleasant surprise.

Parque das Aves Kakegawa Kachouen - Parte 1
O Kakegawa Kachouen é um parque temático com diversas espécies de aves aquáticas e tropicais. Além de desfrutar do contato direto com os pássaros é possível alimentá-los e até tirar foto com as corujas, pinguins, patos e passarinhos. Há uma apresentação de aves espetaculares, elas voam baixo e bem pertinho do público para demonstrar suas habilidades especiais.
A estufa possui um jardim com flores lindas penduradas no teto e é nesse cenário que o almoço acontece. Com um Buffet variado incluindo Drink Bar, durante a semana você pode comer e beber à vontade durante 90 minutos e nos finais de semana e feriados durante 60 minutos.
O Jardim Botânico possui inúmeras espécies de flores criadas em estufa para apreciar, como o Lótus, Begônias e a Vitória Régia.
Funcionamento: Aberto todos os dias.
