Glass Bridge in India at NTR Beach Kakinada Smart City

Hi friends,
In this video we would like to share the India's first Glass Bridge that was built in Kakinada Smart City on behalf of it's inauguration on 27th Sep'18, which is going to add immense beauty to Kakinada's Beach near Haritha resorts.

One can now enjoy the beauty of beach as well peaceful Park .

According to sources, Kakinada Beach is being developed to international standards for attracting international tourists.

The Suspension Glass Bridge at Kakinada Beach is getting ready for inauguration. The state government has designed the bridge for crossing the salt creek to go to the beach as part of the tourism promotion scheme. It is the first glass bridge in the country. The 45m long bridge has been constructed at a cost of Rs 2.07 crore and is a purely pedestrian bridge.

The bridge has been designed by engineering experts from Indore. Officials are making efforts to get the bridge. When tourists or people go on the bridge, they can experience its shaking. When pedestrians walk on the bridge, they will get a feeling of walking on water due to the reflection of water on the glass.

Kakinada (formerly called Cocanada) is one of the largest cities and the district headquarters of East Godavari district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.
It is the second most populated city of East Godavari district after Rajahmundry. The city has a population of about 4.43 Lakhs as of 2018 census.

Kakinada is globally known for its sweet called Kaaja.
Along with these it is also known for its town planning.
The Indian Standard Time (IST) passes through this city.
Kakinada used to have about 12 cinema halls along a road (Cinema Road) and is known as Second Madras (because Chennai used to have many cinema halls along a road). It is also known for its scenic beach beauty alongside Visakhapatnam.

The city is a home for many Tollywood Film Celebrities namely Suryakantham, Rao Gopal Rao, Krishna Bhagawan, Goutham Raju. The city was selected as one of the hundred Indian cities to be developed as a smart city under PM Narendra Modi's flagship, Smart Cities Mission.
It is one of the fastest developing cities of Andhra Pradesh.
