Lombok Amazing Kite Surf at Kaliantan, East Lombok
Ekas Bay and the Southern Reefs are perfect spots for kite and wind surfing. The area boasts of consistent winds, set in a stunning and remote location.
Because of its size and orientation, Kite surfing is excellent at the large reefs in the entrance of the Bay and on the broad lagoons and fringing reefs nearby.
The winds are best from April to September, as they get the same weather as the popular kiting site at Lakey Peak in Sumbawa.

Remember that there are no direct ferries from Bali to Lombok. You have to stop over at Gili Islands in order to get to Lombok. Alternatively you can take a plane Bali - Lombok.

The new kitesurfing paradise is about to start in Indonesia, strong and constant trade wind from May until October make Jeneponto one of the best spot in Asia. Unlike other Asian spots, wind is blowing here during dry season. It means permanent deep blue sky and no rain at all.
Uncharted spot, you will enjoy a huge sandy lagoon way from the crowd. Flat and safe, the spot is perfect for both beginners who want to learn, and experienced riders who love big jumps and unhooked tricks.

Pour ce 21ème épisode des Kitesurf Paradise nous vous emmenons à la découverte de Jeneponto. Ce spot est situé en Indonésie et plus précisément dans le sud de l'île Sulawesi. Alice et Régis y ont ouvert un lodge et une école de kite. La plage et le lagon juste devant le lodge sont immenses. En fonction des marées différents spots s'offrent à vous. Le vent souffle non stop de avril à novembre. Nous y étions fin aout et nous avons eu du vent tous les jours à plus de 20 nœuds, une véritable machine à vent!
