They’ll be bathed with blood and understand. We’ll break them like a broom. These are the words of the leader of the Freedom Party, Oleg Tyagnybok, regarding the whole peninsula. He wanted to force almost two million people to bathe in their own blood. In Russia, of course, it was clearly understood without such revelations what Maidan could end up with for Crimea.

SHOTLIST
As fears of a renewed violence between the North Ossetians and the Ingush swept through the Caucasus on Friday, police and security forces in the border region were put on high alert.
Since the terrorist attack in Beslan, there has been a marked increase in tension between the North Ossetians and the Ingush, a rival ethnic group whose members were among the fighters who seized School No. 1.
Forces in the border region have had their numbers strengthened as a precaution.
Among the forces are guards from Mobile Police Unit who are assigned to watch the administrative border between Ingushetia and North Ossetia.
The unit, based in North Ossetian territory, is made up of Ingush and North Ossetian policemen, plus police sent from other Russian regions.
Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Sanayev, deputy commander of the unit, described the situation as tense and complex.
The police guards, all on a six-month tour, were stopping and checking every vehicle approaching the border.
Their hope was to prevent a repeat of the 1992 conflict between the Ossetians and the Ingush.

Napoleonic Wars
The Napoleonic Wars (1803--1815) were a series of wars between Napoleon's French Empire and a series of opposing coalitions led by Great Britain. As a continuation of the wars sparked by the French Revolution of 1789, they revolutionized European armies and played out on an unprecedented scale, mainly owing to the application of modern mass conscription. French power rose quickly as Napoleon's armies conquered much of Europe but collapsed rapidly after France's disastrous invasion of Russia in 1812. Napoleon was defeated in 1814; he returned and was finally defeated in 1815 at Waterloo, and all France's gains were taken away by the victors.
Before a final victory against Napoleon, five of seven coalitions saw defeat at the hands of France. France defeated the first and second coalitions during the French Revolutionary Wars, the third (notably at Austerlitz), the fourth (notably at Jena, Eylau, and Friedland) and the fifth coalition (notably at Wagram) under the leadership of Napoleon. These great victories gave the French Army a sense of invulnerability, especially when it approached Moscow. But after the retreat from Russia, in spite of incomplete victories, France was defeated by the sixth coalition at Leipzig, in the Peninsular War at Vitoria and at the hands of the seventh coalition at Waterloo.

Green Clouds Over Moscow Spark Disaster Fears 4/26/2012
Are They Chemtrails....? Weather Modification..... ?
Published: 26 April, 2012, 20:12

Mysterious green clouds have been spotted over the Russian capital, sparking fears of a chemical disaster and even some doomsday theories.
But the Emergencies Ministry is advising the public to calm down. It says the clouds are actually composed of birch pollen, not of chemicals from an allegedly burning factory in the Moscow region, as some reported.
Some people, however, got so scared that even the official comments could not convince them. Russian Twitter users have been posting alarming messages like Moscow schools are closed because of the blast! Children are sent home, Sky has turned completely green in Moscow's south! and The factory in Kaluga is destroyed! A flood of 911 calls was also registered.
Others believe that the authorities are hiding information from the public: Pollen is just an excuse. It might as well be the beginning of the Apocalypse! one popular Russian blogger posted to his readers.
The odd natural phenomenon mystically coincided with the 26th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster, which caused further speculation about the authorities withholding information.
Biologists say birch trees started blooming yesterday, which would also explain why Muscovites have started sneezing. Birch pollen is a strong allergen, so people suffering from hay fever are strongly advised to take the necessary steps.

SUMMARY
=======
Alexander I (Russian: Александр Павлович, Aleksandr Pavlovich; 23 December [O.S. 12 December] 1777 – 1 December [O.S. 19 November] 1825) reigned as Emperor of Russia between 1801 and 1825. He was the oldest son of Paul I and Sophie Dorothea of Württemberg. Alexander was the first Russian King of partitioned Poland, reigning from 1815 to 1825, as well as the first Russian Grand Duke of Finland, reigning from 1809 to 1825.
He was born in Saint Petersburg to Grand Duke Paul Petrovich, later Emperor Paul I, and succeeded to the throne after his father was murdered. He ruled Russia during the chaotic period of the Napoleonic Wars. As prince and during the early years of his reign, Alexander often used liberal rhetoric, but continued Russia's absolutist policies in practice. In the first years of his reign, he initiated some minor social reforms and (in 1803–04) major, liberal educational reforms, such as building more universities. Alexander appointed Mikhail Speransky, the son of a village priest, as one of his closest advisors. The Collegia was abolished and replaced by the State Council, which was created to improve legislation. Plans were also made to set up a parliament and sign a constitution.
In foreign policy, he changed Russia's position relative to France four times between 1804 and 1812 among neutrality, opposition, and alliance. In 1805 he joined Britain in the War of the Third Coalition against Napoleon, but after the massive defeat at the Battle of Austerlitz he switched and formed an alliance with Napoleon by the Treaty of Tilsit (1807) and joined Napoleon's Continental System. He fought a small-scale naval war against Britain between 1807 and 1812 as well as a short war against Sweden (1808–09) after Sweden's refusal to join the Continental System. Alexander and Napoleon hardly agreed, especially regarding Poland, and the alliance collapsed by 1810. The tsar's greatest triumph came in 1812 as Napoleon's invasion of Russia proved a total disaster for the French. As part of the winning coalition against Napoleon he gained some spoils in Finland and Poland. He formed the Holy Alliance to suppress revolutionary movements in Europe that he saw as immoral threats to legitimate Christian monarchs. He helped Austria's Klemens von Metternich in suppressing all national and liberal movements.
In the second half of his reign he was increasingly arbitrary, reactionary and fearful of plots against him; he ended many earlier reforms. He purged schools of foreign teachers, as education became more religiously oriented as well as politically conservative. Speransky was replaced as advisor with the strict artillery inspector Aleksey Arakcheyev, who oversaw the creation of military settlements. Alexander died of typhus in December 1825 while on a trip to southern Russia. He left no children, as his two daughters died in childhood. Both of his brothers wanted the other to become emperor. After a period of great confusion (that presaged the failed Decembrist revolt of liberal army officers in the weeks after his death), he was succeeded by his younger brother, Nicholas I.
