Copenhagen parkrun - Amager Fælled parkrun - Denmark
On our trip to Copenhagen of course we completed one of the 3 parkruns. Amager Fælled parkrun has a 2 lap course around Amager Fælled. Although there were no marshals or cones along the course, the course was marked with flour arrows to ensure you went the correct way. Also a huge thanks to those who did make the event possible like Anne who this week celebrated her 300th parkrun volunteer! Note to tourists: When visiting, allow plenty of time to find as we struggled to find the event within the park due to no official parkrun signs and the park mostly being shrub land.

Kalvebod Fælled is a large common in the southern part of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is a part of Nature Park Amager, a 3500 hectare green area 10 minutes from the city center. I set out to document the place in winter. Enjoy!

Kalvebod Fælled 2018
Kalvebod Fælled is part of a protected nature area in Copenhagen, Denmark. Here you have a high contrast to the town houses across the street and the 18 holes golf course next to it. Pure nature with endangered species on one side of the road and citizens of Copenhagen on the other. I love the mix of nature and city life, but we need to keep the balance. We should really appreciate and protect the area so future generations can enjoy it too.
In this area you find lots of butterflies, bees, birds, frogs and mosquitoes. (we may not like the last ones, but they are also part of nature.)

MICRO FILMS: Walked 5.6km earlier to Amager Fælled, København, Denmark to try my drone out. Wasn't able to get some sunset footage as I maxed my SD card and thought of not wanting to be in the middle of nowhere at night. Happy to say though that it's maiden flight was a success! ????????????
Here's a few clips from my hour stay there trying to figure out my drone's controls with 10-19km/h winds (acc. to Google) at 6-8°C. It's a bit crappy, hoping to learn more as I go along ????
