Location: Kanagawa, Japan
Today I am heading out of Tokyo, Japan into Kanagawa, Japan. Today we are heading to Kamakura.
Kamakura Japan is located in Kanagawa prefecture and is really a beautiful place today. In this series I will give you my Kamakura travel guide and show you everything from giant Buddha statues to Kamakura beach.
The purpose of this channel is to hopefully give people an honest look at life in Japan, give you the tools to experience it in an authentic way and get outside of the typical Japan Travel Tips. There is so much of Japan to see that isn’t covered in the typical guide books and I hope my future Tokyo vlog will help people access those experiences. For the first few months however, I will be putting out more of the typical Japan vlogs and helpful videos to get you around this city!

The Kamakura Museum of Literature is a small museum in Kamakura, Kanagawa, Japan, that was erected in 1936 by Toshinari Maeda, the 16th head of the Maeda family.
This museun contains material about writers who have lived, died, or were active in the Kamakura.
The flower of 187 kinds of roses are in blossom in the garden of this museum.

Kamakura is one of the best tourist destinations from Tokyo, it takes just one hour by a train (Yokosuka Line) from Tokyo Station to Kamakura Station.

In the rainy season(mostly in June), hydrangea bloom in abundance on the temple grounds.

Tsurugaoka Hachimangu was established in 1063. There are Torii gates, which are the border between the secular spaces of daily life and the sacred.

In the calm atmosphere, there are lots of Torii gates and dolls of the white fox that is a messenger of God.

The site is often known as Daibutsu (the large statue).

Autumn in Japan Series: Hasedera Temple in Kamakura
こんにちは ! This is the first episode of my Autumn in Japan series. This video features Hasedera Temple, which is one of the top spots for autumn foliage viewing in Kamakura, Kanagawa prefecture. It wasn't the peak yet when my sister and I went to this place but it was the first day of the autumn illumination. It was still very beautiful and scenic. I'd love to go back to this place next week to see it turn crimson and orange. It was also rainy when we went there so we weren't able to go up the hill for safety reasons. Also, please excuse my voice in this video because I have a cold (since everyone is sick at this time of the year).

This time I walked around Enkakuji Temple in Kamakura City.
Enkakuji is a very historic temple in front of Kita-Kamakura Station on the JR Yokosuka Line.
The temple was opened in 1282. At that time, the politician Hojo Tokimune was built to mourn the victims of the Mongolian invasion regardless of their enemies or allies.
