Kambo in the Amazon Jungle- thanks, praises and awareness with Victor Escobar
Victor Escobar has been sharing kambo in the village of Santa Maria, just outside #Iquitos, for over a year now. People from the village have been coming more and more and are so grateful for the medicine this blessed creature has to offer. To show thanks to Victor for sharing this medicine for free, they went exploring at night to find #kambo. They knew where to find kambo as Victor explained how we get the secretion. The next morning, villagers came back with nearly 25 kambo so Victor could harvest more medicine. But as Victor explains in the video, kambo is a nocturnal creature and shouldn’t be bothered in the day time. He explained this to the villagers who didn’t realize but now do and have a better understanding. To show respect to this amazing animal, Victor released all the kambo and said he would find them again in the evening when they are more active to get medicine. The villagers now have a greater respect for not just the medicine this animal provides, but also this amazing creature from god.
In this video he also explains some of the #peptides found in kambo and how to tell the difference between kambo and other species of #phyllomedusa. It is important to know from where you are getting your secretion as some people have been known to get secretion from other species. #Phyllomedusabicolor is different than the rest and provides amazing healing for us humans. Know your medicine and know where and how it is being harvested ????❤️
Thanks and praises always to this incredible being, kambo. ????????????

Viva Kambo

Note:
We would like to make an apologise for the frog.
Although she has not been hurt in any way in the process,
we been happier if she have been released right after the take off of the medicine. Or put first all the medicine we need off the frog and put it on the stick. So we learned about that and will help with the protocol.

Kampû - Vacina do sapo

Expedition to the Matses, 2018
Expedition to the matsés. Video drawing field research conducted in 2018 (Peru, rio Galvez/rio Loboyacu, matsés (mayoruna) indigena). The period of the first contacts matsés with the peruvian society in the late 1960s and early 1970s became tragic for this indigena group. Avoiding it, part of the matsés went further to the east, to Brazil, where they are called mayoruna. Peruvian matsés say that there their tribesmen continue to build maloca - large communal dwellings. In matsés Peru, this tradition has come to naught. Villages of the peruvian matsés are more like ordinary amazonian villages. But on the peruvian side, there is one single maloca of matsés, whose inhabitants do not want to move to modern settlements. The expedition of Andrey Matusovsky visited this last maloca. It was interesting to observe the interlacing of old and new in life matsés. Still alive are the old people or their children, who remember how they attacked the peruvian soldiers or, according to tradition, ate their deceased relatives.

Matses: the history of the moon
Video drawing field research on Andrey Matusovskiy, russian anthropologist, conducted in 2017 (Peru, rio Galvez, matses (mayoruna) indians).
The first man lived on earth. He had several wives. One day he went into the woods and saw a tree of a capirona (Capirona decorticans). The tree was very tall, and the man decided to climb it with a wicker basket. He cut the bark of the capirona, and the juice began to trickle from the tree. The moon was on a capirona. The moon told the man that this is his tree, and therefore a man can not do this with a capirona. Then the man made a ladder and on it rose even higher. But the moon was on the very top of the capirona. Wives of the man remained below, in the maloca, and their husband was talking on top of a capirona with the moon. And the man traveled even higher up the capirona with the moon. The man grabbed a branch of the capirona, and the moon began to knock on the trunk of the tree, trying to throw the man down. The man tied around his belt a very long coca (so matses called wide belts from the bark of trees of a certain kind, which bind up wicker baskets for carrying loads) and safely went downstairs. Going down, the man became very tall, about 20 meters. After a while, the man, using the coca, again climbed on the tree of the capirona. The moon again began to knock on a tree, trying to throw off the man. Despite the efforts of the moon, the man calmly descended to the ground. He took the calabaza with the chicha. The man was drinking chichu and playing the flute all night, taking turns sitting down about two entrances to the maloca (the maloca of matses has two opposite entrances). As the day dawned, the man also sang in turn at two entrances to the maloca. A small seed of semidji symbolizes one of the entrances to the maloca, guarding it. To the man in his maloca came other matses. The man's wife went to the river for water, cooked chicha. Guests drank chicha and asked the owner of the maloca ones about his journey up the capirona. The man for the third time went on a trip up the capirona to the moon. From the moon, a man came down with a chicha from maiz, which was in the calabaza. Again to the man in the maloca came other matses. It was worth them to drink chicha received from the moon, all the guests, men, women and children, grew long noses. Then the man cut off their long noses, and now all matses have normal noses.
