Kamchatka Ski Tour Part 1 Heli day 1
Where? Kamchatka!
When? April!
What? The different experience! Snow experience at rugged volcanoes!
That was my first ever heli-skiing. Though I spent hours and days flying over all Kamchatka. I've been waiting for this for a long time. It just came as a gift!
And I am sure I want more!
I want to confess that this video is not perfect at all. GoPro Hero 4 without a gimbal is something I woudn't use now. But I was enjoyed making this film, and every emotion of those days awok in me!
That is just a day of 10 days of ski touring, snowmobilling and heli-skiing.
Hopefully very soon I'll edit and download the rest of the adventures!

Kamchatka Vlog Russia
I was absolutely lost in Time! The video starts in beginning of January - not December :)
This video is filmed in Kamchatka Peninsula in the Far East of Russia.
This time I went there in January-February and there was lots of snow.
Usually, there is more snow in February - March.
There is a lot to show, but it is not easy to put everything in one video!
So I will come back and will show you guys more : )
Kamchatka is a wild and remote peninsula in the Pacific Ocean and you can get there by plane only.
It is home to many volcanoes, hot springs and amazing ski slopes.
I went to Moroznaya for snowboarding and I was staying for a few days at the Severnye Prikluchenia resort (park-hotel). This is a short review of this place in the video as the first half of this clip was filmed there.
The food is amazing there with lots of fresh seafood local dishes that you can find only in Kamchatka.
I may need to film another vlog only about Kamchatka food! :)
Reach me out on instagram and say hello if you watched this video!

Kamchatka. The Winter Surf Challenge Камчатка от Timelab.pro 6K Drone video
info@timelab.pro - collaboration with Timelab.pro
Shot on DJI Inspire 2 with Zenmuse X7 camera
Surfing in the Pacific Ocean, active volcanoes, beaches of black sand, snowy mountain ranges - in the new aerial video Timelab Pro discovers winter Kamchatka.
In January 2018 on the peninsula on the coast of the Gulf of Avach Russia's unique winter surfing contest took place - the Winter Surf Challenge. Our film crew did not hit the waves, but had the pleasure to shoot the contestants facing the force of nature. Part of the filming happened at nighttime, outside the main event, which was limited in time while the waves were not always suitable for surfing. The freezing -15°C and winds that knock you off your feet didn't stop the surfers conquering the waves in the light of three cars' headlights.
Besides the contest, the video features footage from our trip around Kamchatka. The opening shots show the eruption of the Klyuchevskaya Sopka volcano - we filmed it early in the morning, when the ashes were highlighted by the first beams of the sunrise. You can also see the Parantuka river, which never freezes, and the Vilyuchinsky pass from the above.
For this project we used the DJI Inspire 2 drone with the Zenmuse X7 camera, which at that time had just appeared on the market. The gear withstanded the extreme temperature drops with the lowest of -35°C at night.

KAMCHATKA: VOLCANOES & BEARS
The Kamchatka Peninsula, rugged and remote, is a vast blade of land stabbing southwestward through cold seas from the mainland of northeastern Russia. Its coastline is scalloped like the edges of an obsidian dagger. Its highlands rise to cone-shaped volcanic peaks, snow-streaked in summer, and to ridges of barren rock. It's a wild place where at least 20 percent of all wild Pacific salmon go to spawn each year, creating an annual feeding frenzy for the local brown bear population - National Geographic

Kamchatka - Starving
ROVING REPORT 9910
RR9910/A - KAMCHATKA: STARVING
(Dur: 9 mins 45 secs/ English sot: 31 secs/ Russian sot: 1 min 42 secs)
The Kamchatka peninsula in far eastern Russia is one of the world's great wildernesses and consequently an often highly inhospitable region in which to live. During the Soviet era life there was heavily subsidised because of the region's importance as a fishing zone and military area. But post-communism, Kamchatka has largely had to fend for itself, which has led to shortages of food, medicines, fuel and money. Some people are starving, some are driven to despair and the Red Cross has launched an international appeal. But even the Red Cross can do little about two more of Kamchatka's problems - volcanoes and earthquakes.

Hiking a Russian Volcano in Siberia's Wild Kamchatka
Volcano trekking in the Russian Far East is a popular outdoor activity on Kamchatka Peninsula, with more than 300 volcanoes — 29 of them active. A highlight of MIR’s uncommon journey, “Remote Russia: Yakutia & Kamchatka, ( is a day hike at the foot of Avacha Volcano near Petropavolsk-Kamchatsky.
For MIR travelers on custom, private journeys, a more challenging adventure – as in this video – is hiking in and around the massive Mutnovsky Volcano, with its four separate craters, ice caves, glaciers, and steaming fumaroles — the hottest and most active of all volcanoes on Kamchatka. Once off-limits to foreigners during Soviet times, UNESCO-listed Kamchatka Peninsula is one of the world’s wildest natural settings – a must-see destination for intrepid travelers. MIR's tour also explores Yakutia, where more than 40% of the land sits above the Arctic Circle. This is the land of mammoths, diamonds, UNESCO-listed 650-feet-tall Lena Pillars, and Yakutsk – the world's largest city built on permafrost.

Kamchatka Photo Tour
We will take you to the Kamchatka Peninsula of far Eastern Siberia to get amongst wild brown bears, lakes and volcanoes.
In the far east of Russia, the Kamchatka Peninsula stands on the Pacific’s ‘Rim of Fire’; volcanoes and all. Virtually untouched by human development, it represents one of the most flourishing wilderness tracts in the world, spanning an astounding 4,72,300km2. We will be transported by chartered helicopters such is the ruggedness of the terrain.
Stunningly rich in natural resources and punctuated with glaciers, geysers, lakes, hot springs and all things volcanic, Kamchatka is truly an ultimate goal for the photographer who craves to tread off the beaten path and explore the extraordinary and the wild.
Mesmerising close-up shots of large, brown bears are guaranteed as are dramatic landscapes and even marine life in Avacha Bay.

Amazing Kamchatka trip

Journey to Kamchatka, Russia, 2013
I am Adam from Australia. In July, 2013 I decided to travel to Kamchatka which is located in the Russia Far East. This trip was part of my short, month journey across Russia. Kamchatka remains an isolated and off road location with planes being the most practical means to transport to get there. It is a land full of active volcanoes, mountains, wild and untouched nature and animals. The remote nature of Kamchatka means that traveling around without a guide or proper vehicle/knowledge is very difficult. I booked a tour with a Russian company where it was a young couple from Ukraine and I. In this trip we were mainly based in the small town of Paratunka, outside of the main city Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. We visited 3 volcanoes: Avacha, Gorely and Mutnovsky. Rafted down the rivers and sailed out into the Pacific Ocean. Kamchatka is truly one of the last untouched wonders of the world, unspoiled by both development and tourism. I have a fairly solid knowledge of Russian which has greatly assisted me in traveling in this region.

The goal was to climb 4 active vulcanoes.
Avacha: to get to Avacha, one needs to drive through a dry river bed for about 2 hours. Well, the dry river bed wasn't so dry. We reached it on a second attempt however the river had washed out the way through to the vulcano. We climbed Camel Mountain instead.
Tolbachik: a massive vulcano. We climbed it in thick fog however were lucky on the descend with visibility getting better and better, showing us the magnificient black dessert surrounding it.
As we had four great days in the Tolbachik area we also walked to the seldomly visted Southern Vent. No tracks, just walk through the vulcanic wilderness. Amazing.
Mutnovsky: mother earth at it's wildest. Mud slides, snow, steam, boiling mud, slippery slopes, ... the lot! Climbed it in pooring rain but had great visibility. My favourite vulcano. Hardly any video though.
Gorely: we saved the best vistas for last! Perfect weather made this a proverbial stroll in the park. Well, sort off. On top of this beautiful vulcano you can see no less than 10 other vulcanoes surrounding it. Just magic.
Big thumbs up to Artyom (and his team), our local guide from The Lost World Tours, for making it a trip of a lifetime.
And as for Kris from Offtrack: we'll meet again ;)
