《日本の滝百選》金引の滝 - Kanabiki Waterfall Kyoto【BMPCC4K BRAW】
京都の宮津市に位置する金引の滝へ行ってまいりました。宮津の道の駅でレンタサイクルを借り久しぶりに自転車を運転しました。ジンバルと自転車操作には何か共通点があるのかもしれないと坂道をのぼりながら思いましたが関係ありませんでした。
【Kanabiki Waterfall】
Selected as one of the top 100 waterfalls in Japan, Kanabiki waterfall is 40m tall and 20m wide. The waterfall lies on a hill in Miyazu(the waterfall is located at the top of a staircase). Due to its forest location and high elevation, Kanabiki waterfall is a popular spot in the summer as it is cool and refreshing. It is also a good place to visit in the spring and fall to enjoy the change of seasons.

Kanabiki Waterfall is one of the top 100 waterfalls in Japan. It is also the only one on the list in Kyoto Prefecture. The waterfall is 20m wide and 40m high.

After meeting up with friends in the Kansai area, I spent the weekend exploring Kyoto by bicycle, visiting Amanohashidate (one of the Three Views of Japan 日本三景), and strolling down lantern-lined streets of Miyazu's Yawarabi Festival.
This videos' a bit longer than usual, but only because there were so many things that I wanted to share with all of you! Enjoy!

I was sorting through some of my videos and I found this. I took all the footage but never put it together. Why didn't I? I don't know. But here it is.
Joy and I went to Kanabiki Waterfall on Oct. 8th, 2012. Oct. 8th was a national holiday here in Japan. Besides going to Kanabiki we also explored around Miyazu.
In the summer there is a fire festival here. The waterfall is set on fire!

I Love Nature, but it's hard to find it in Tokyo (or so I thought!). But a beautiful place called, Okutama which is still considered Tokyo has such beautiful valley's and waterfall's, and hiking trails that I had to go!
This waterfall is quite a popular waterfall, with three different falls and their corresponding pools. The water is so clear (no plants or fish) and it's deep enough for swimming, it is beautiful! The next waterfall I hike to is more difficult, and I'll show it in the next video.

日本の滝１００選の一つ「金引の滝」は高さ約40メートル、幅約20メートルで、一年中豊かな水量を誇る美しい滝です。
水は左右に流れて落ち、右側は「男滝」、左側は「女滝」と呼ばれています。
下流の「白龍」、「臥龍」の滝とともに「金引の滝」と総称され、水と緑を求める多くの人々に親しまれる憩いの場所となっています。
